Good Standard Dishwasher

We purchased a new home and had only GE options with very upgrade choices so we ultimate chose the standard equipment thinking we could upgrade them later if they weren't satisfactory. So far this Dishwasher has been very consistent. We use the Finish brand Pods and the dishes come out clean with little to no spotting or soap residue. We rinse all dishes prior to loading in the dishwasher so they are not heavily soiled. Basically using it to wash and sanitize the dishes, which it does well. My biggest complaint is that it comes with a Casade brand Pod and states that type is recommended, but those do NOT work well in this unit. These Pods cause the soap door to stick shut and therefore the dishes do not get cleaned very well. 4 stars for poor soap door design and insufficient silverware storage space.

though the washer cleans ok I had to have it serviced 3 times in the past three months. first time water was not getting into dishwasher. second time doer had to be replaced as it was warped. third time the brand new door had a valve that was leaking

Noisy and small

We bought this three months ago and the hinge broke the first month. Something also dripped down front making a permanent stain. Nothing will get it off. It is extremely noisy does a so so job although I'd say it's drying feature is nonexistent. The inside capacity is also quite small. Not worth the money.

Doesn't clean as expected

We got this in May and unfortunately it doesn't clean as i would like to. I do rinse the dishes prior to load the dishwasher...yet... often and times I need to wash by hand.

It looked looks nice but is cheap. The space inside is not well thought out and heated drying only works if the heat is boosted.
