Leaves spots

This DW was chosen by the builder and was considered an "upgrade" because it was stainless steel. Appearance is NOT an upgrade and this unit performs poorly. Within the first week I had to have a technician out because the factory didn't attach the wires so that the soap dispenser would open. Now, with a functioning soap door, the unit STILL leaves tons of spots on dishes. And they don't always get clean. I use the recommended soap and the rinse agent. Still spots. It's also a bit noisy. My previous DW was a Bosche and when I save up the money, this one will be replaced with that. (And in case you can see the ratings below, I was not given the appropriate choice for WHY I chose GE. I selected price because it was thrown in by the builder of my condo. As stated, I wouldn't have chosen GE if I'd been given other models to choose from.) Don't buy this unless you're putting it in a rental property and won't actually have to use it yourself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best thing I can say about the dishwasher is that it is pretty quiet and it does get the dishes clean. However, the racks are rather flimsy, the touch controls aren't very user friendly. i do like the flaps on the silverware basket that keeps the utensils separated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It washes dishes!

It does what it should, wash dishes! Has some nice settings that improve overall performance. Relatively quiet(despite reading otherwise). It looks sharp with my matching appliances.

Have to use the wash temp boost with the heated dry to assure dry dishes. This appliance was provided in our new home

Not what I expected!

The dishwasher looks good and cleans the dishes well but it is noisy. I did not buy this appliance, it came with the new home. The silverware rack is the worst design ever.
