Poor Design and Quality

This dishwasher is poor design and quality. The detergent dispenser lines up perfectly with the silverware basket, so if you put any cooking utensils larger than a spoon there it blocks the release of detergent. Also frustrating is the poor quality. The detergent dispenser does not latch anymore despite the appliance only being three - four years old and the lower racks starting rusting the first year of use. The rust leaves marks on our white dishes effectively ruining them. Do not purchase any version of this design. It is flawed.

Rusting Racks!

This dishwasher is barely 4 years old and the upper and lower racks are falling apart due to rust. I have never seen a dishwasher do this. Apparently this is a problem with certain GE models. This is disgusting. GE should do something about this. Would not recommend.

All of the racks rusted and tines started braking off at only 5 years old. Not quiet at all. Junk

I replaced the bottom rack after 2-3 years due to rust. It was a cheap fix and got me another 2-3 years of life. Now the door sags on one side and you need to prop it up to get it to close but it still cleans really well. Most of the reviews are from people like me who got this in a new build home. It worked great with a few bumps along the way but I got over 5 years out of it and have a new upgraded GE model being installed this week. Go with a stainless steel tub and leaking and rusting out door hardware should not happen like with this model.

Rusted and Broken Racks

Core dishwasher is working fine but both the racks got rusted and broken within few years... Not able to find replacement racks for this model.

I can't tell if they are clean or dry?

The dishes don't get clean, they don't dry. This dishwasher is a disaster and the worst appliance we have ever owned. This dishwasher was installed in our new house and at this point we are going to have to buy something that "WASHES DISHES" = DISHWASHER!!

Two stars because it does clean the dishes but functionality is lacking. The utensil treat blocks the soap from fully dispensing if you put anything in the center. Also had to buy holders to keep glasses from falling over. Does not fit cereal bowls at all. Will replace as soon as I can afford to.

DOES NOT CLEAN DISHES

This product was the standard dishwasher in our new construction home. The dishwasher is horrible. It does not run full cycles all the time unless you use the heavy cycle, which takes over 2 hours. 2 out of 5 normal cycles don't run completely. Your dishes are dirty or caked with soap and the soap doesn't dissolve completely. The soap ends up stuck to the inside of the washer door. We are already planning on replacing this product.
