Amazingly Quiet Dishwasher

You have to be standing right next to this dishwasher to know it is running. Rarely used my last dishwasher, but have used this one every day since I got it. Another nice feature is the "Clean" Light indicator that stays from the time the cycle finishes until you open the door to empty out the clean dishes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This model was installed by our home builder. It performs very poorly. The dishes are often not clean especially the silverware tray. It also dries very poorly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

INSTALLED 12/30/15 & IT STARTED LEAKING ON 2/29/16. DOESN'T CLEAN TOO GOOD, IT ONLY CLEANS OKAY. USUALLY HAVE TO RE WASH SOME DISHES.

Doesn't clean dishes!

This was the base dishwasher our builder puts into their homes. We have lived in our home less than 2 months. It is a horrible product. Numerous times I have been putting dishes away and there is still food stuck to them. That is even on the heavy wash setting! We have to scrub every dish spotless before loading it! The heat dry feature doesn't work at all. The dishes are still soaked after the cycle and we have to let them air dry! It is such a pain! There have been a few times where the dishwasher doesn't even use all the soap. So we ran another cycle. We have soft water so we don't use a lot either. It still didn't use all the soap the second time. This is a horrible product! Don't buy it if you have a choice. Maybe we just got a dude. A repairman is coming on Monday. We will see what he says about fixing it. I'm not hopeful though. :(

No Bells, No Whistles..But A Dishwashing Workhorse

Our new GE dishwasher was installed several weeks ago and we are very pleased with the performance. We choose a fairly basic model based on comments by other purchasers. It is quiet and does a great job of cleaning. I also like the Cascade sample product that came with the machine. Much better than my usual store brand detergent. For the price, we were delighted with the food grinder mechanism. This feature is seldom found even on higher end washers of other brands.
Looking forward to many years of good service. Thank you GE!
