only purchased 3 months ago and it's only used once a week but it's very quiet and has plenty of room inside. the first few times all of the detergent didn't release properly and instead dripped down the door, but I changed to the pods and that seems to have done the trick.

My GE dishwasher isn’t as quiet as I’d like and I had to make an adjustment to the heat element. It’s placenent was too high and kept getting caught in he washer arm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Built sloppy

I had a Maytag dishwasher in previous home that was purchased in 1999. It was running smoother than the new GE model that came with this newly constructed home.
The dishwasher comes with a weird basket for silverware that pops off side constantly and does not hold much silverware either. The racks inside do well, but don’t look like they will last.
The door itself gives side to side so you have to be sure it closes evenly or it leaks.
The cycle for cleaning is ridiculously long. 2 hours long.
Lastly, it is noisy. Much louder than last dishwasher.

Problem from day 1

The door for the detergent doesn’t open during the cycle so detergent cakes and dries on the door. It has always done this. Terrible machine!
This appliance came with the new home we purchased. We had no say in what we got.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
