Looks nice and washes well

I've used this dishwasher about 5 months and I'm happy with the washing capability.
It's also quiet. The interior room of the dishwasher isn't really big enough to fit in the largest pots and pans.

Doesn't dry and clean enough

The unit doesn't always clean residue food and doesn't dry enough during the dry cycle.

Looks Great, Cleans Badly

Dishwasher was purchased based on reviews and style. Certain features are great, like a third row for lids and such. Appearance wise, it looks great and has nice features. In my experience with it though, the reviews were not accurate. The Dishwasher takes a considerably much longer time to run then my previous GE Dishwasher that was 24 years old, only cleans (for the most part) when used on the heavy cycle, the dry feature only semi dries. If we run one of the lighter cycles, it has to be run a second time to make the dishes semi clean. The water temperature is hot enough, and this dishwasher is very quiet. Regardless of if we use the dry feature or not, I still have to open the dishwasher immediately after completion to allow the dishes to dry further and shake off excess water. Sadly, very disappointed in this appliance, and to a lesser extent, the drop in Range that we purchased at the same time (there is a fan that makes a random rattling sound when used).
I take pride in knowing these appliances are made in the USA but there is no doubt there is a lack of quality put into these appliances that have my considering other alternatives when I have to upgrade the fridge in the next few months. It is a real shame too, the Slate finish really makes these appliances stand out. Sadly, it is what is on the inside that needs to be improved upon. We have used the dishwasher every 2-3 days now for about 6-8 weeks, the filters inside are clean, so this is not user related issues.
