Terrible dishwasher
on January 7, 2023
Posted by: Shaidester
This doesn’t even deserve a one star review. This dishwasher came with the house and was terrible. Started beeping randomly with a wake up chime for a year. Last week it decided to just die. Barely 3 years of use. I bought a Bosch to replace this. Never getting a GE again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dissatisfied GE customer

My dishwasher stopped draining after only 5 years. Very noisy, but could live with it. However, we ran the dishwasher one evening after dinner and when I came to the kitchen to get something found water all over my floor. I am very good about cleaning my products and had just cleaned the Fine and Ultra Fine filters, which were not dirty. Now I have to find out what happened and replace it. Very frustrating as I always enjoyed GE appliances. My refrigerator stove and microwave are all GE. Hope they don't falter. At this point I would not recommend this product to a consumer.

Same issue as others

Ours finally went caput. It has been intermittently been losing power to the control panel. We usually have to reset the breaker and change the plug the dishwasher is plugged into. Had an electrician check our plugs and electrical box, and everything was fine. I have been reading this is a common issue with this brand and model, so I will be choosing a different brand. Sad this dishwasher was barely 5 years old and already having issues.

Not a good built dishwasher
on October 1, 2024
Posted by: Mukk001
it makes sense now, 2018 new home, builder install, it finally dies after working for 6.5 yrs and losing power intermittently many times during this time frame(was hoping it comes back one more time, no luck), should attribute the problem to the inefficient control board.
