Finding out that you need to open the dishwasher to let everything dry is not what I would call something working well.

Where are the accessories?

Come on - a flatware basket only?!? No wineglass anchor that acts as a shelf? And how about the utility basket? I am disappointed with the lack of smart space in this dishwasher.

its a great washer however it makes a high pitch squeal having someone to come out and check it. Idk if thats normal or not, its brand new i personally dont think it should be making all that noise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review on your new dishwasher. With a new model, it may cause a "squeal" or "rattling" sound the first time it is used if it has no water in it. The sound may also occur if the dishwasher is run after an extended period of time without any use. Please try adding one quart of water to the bottom of the tub and the noise should go away. The water lubricates the pump seals and keeps them quiet.
We hope this helps. Please also take a look at our following link to review additional dishwasher sounds:
If service is needed, your model comes with a full one year warranty and we would be glad to take care of any manufacturing issue for you. Appointments may also be scheduled in the above link. Thank you, again, for your feedback from Idaho!

Dishes not clean and soap not disolved
on June 24, 2017

My dishwasher is about 3 years old and when I run the dishwasher the soap is not fully dissolving and the dishes are not being cleaned. I had a repair man come out and he told me mechanically everything is working properly and that in his experience with these GE models it is necessary to run the hot water in my kitchen sink before starting the dishwasher to ensure hot water and to ensure the dispenser door isn't blocked when loading the dishwasher. I've done these things but the problem persists, see photo. What can I do to get the dishwasher to work?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
