Terrible Dishwasher

This was an upgrade in our new construction home and it's never worked well. We have had it over a year now and I'm not sure why I still bother using it. It runs forever, it's really loud, and the worst part is the dishes do NOT get clean. I can't even use the dish washing tabs unless I want detergent residue left on my dishes. We've switched to liquid, but our dishes still do not come out clean. It goes through Jet Dry like crazy! I have to fill up the reservoir at least every week and a half if not more if I want any type of dry dishes. I'm so disappointed that we paid more for this machine as we are going to have to replace it with something that actually cleans our dishes. Yes, I have cleaned it, checked the filter, etc. It's just a bad dishwasher.

Awful Dishwasher!

DO NOT buy this dishwasher! I purchased a new home and this dishwasher was included. It is brand new and has a foul smell of garlic or mildew and never dries not only the items inside but the inside of the dishwasher is always wet. I have to leave the door open every use to get the water to eventually evaporate and avoid more of a mild dew smell than there already is. The Utensil holder is in the front of the dishwasher & does not dry any of the utensils. The Jet Dry is full, over 24 hours of waiting and after the heated dry cycle the utensils and a lot of the dishes are still wet and have to be hand dried. Makes no sense to have a dishwasher that you have to hand dry everything anyways.

Junk! Do NOT Buy

This piece of junk GE dishwasher came with my new house. All the houses in the subdivision have the same dishwasher and all of them are bad. It broke just after the 1 year warranty. Never cleaned well. Very noisy. Takes way too long to wash the dishes. I will never buy GE appliances. Not a U.S. company any more. This dishwasher should be at the bottom of anyone's list. Stay away!

Not for the long haul

Moving into a newly constructed home, we received all ge appliances. The dishwasher didn’t last for 3 years. I had two people come out and look at it. They both said it needed to be replaced. Electrical issues! It would just die at any moment and then power back up whenever it felt like it. Sometimes after a few weeks, other times after a few washes. No one can figure it out! I will never buy ge ever!

Bad dishwasher review.

Bad dishwasher. Washes for 3 hours or more. Dead after 4 years. Can’t start. Looks like there is no power. Did some troubleshoot, worked for 2 months then completely dead.

THREE HOUR WASH TIME

This was an upgrade option when we bought our home. I expected a whole lot more for the money we paid. I've had to have repair here so many times we considered inviting him to our 4th of July party! The repair tech has been amazing!!! Jason is an asset to your company!!! The other 2 guys really didn't do anything that great!
I expected to have to rinse my dishes before putting them into the machine, but I'm washing them completely. With the recommendated soap and dry agent I still get more spots than I EVER have in the past!
I'm very displeased with the "upgrade" we chose!
