Awesome Dishwasher!

We have installed GE dishwashers at all of our properties over the last 2 years & really have had no problems other than operator error. Educate users on cleaning out the filters & not putting fats, oils, & grease covered dishes as that is usually the problems I have encountered. Of course sun flower seeds & cigarettes are also a few blockages I have come across- don't ask!

I have had several dishwashers and this is the very best to date. Love the steam and the ability to wash one rack at a time.

Wish installation information was explained better in instructions. Would have liked an actual Owners Manual with descriptions on the dishwashers features. Not very quiet. I bought it based on some specific features. Those seem to be great.

Works well, wish the door locked

This unit works pretty well but the door does not lock so often it will vibrate open during the wash cycle and stall until someone re-closes it and starts it again. I would return this if I could and buy one with a locking door. It does a good job cleaning though and is VERY quiet. The "top or bottom only" features are nice as is the sanitize cycle. I've been averaging 0.9 kwh per load or 0.55 kwh without the heated dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quieter Than Expected

Bought the dishwasher for a kitchen remodel in a house I rent to my daughter and son-in-law. This model fits very well in with the mid-century design my daughter is trying to achieve at half the price of the other manufacturers. It has all of the features we were looking for including the silverware rack on the door. This is a great space saving feature that is almost impossible to find. But, the best feature is how quiet the unit is. I was sitting in the room next to the kitchen that is separated by a 4 high foot pony wall when the unit was installed. I didn't realize it was running until I heard it1 draining.
