I like the fact that every burner has a very low setting for simmering things without them boiling over.
I don't like that the speed burner is in the front. I don't like having to reach over that heat and flame to get to the burners in the back. I feel the 2 smaller burners should be located in the front and the larger ones in the back.
The range in general is very easy to keep clean so it always looks good.

Paint indicators on cooktop are rubbing off !

We bought our JGP333SETSS ge gas cooktop about a year ago, and the paint around the knobs is disappearing ! We have been careful to only use mild detergent and water to clean the cooktop. We love this appliance, only are alarmed that we will soon not have any indication as to burner level, and what is OFF !!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap knobs

This stove was selected by my home builder 4 years ago. I have had to replace the knobs time and time again. They are made very cheaply but are very costly. I have even gone to look for universal knobs but have notr found any that fit. Very disappointed that there is not other selections in knobs. I would rather spend more money on good quality other than this. I wish they would make stainless steel knobs.

This cooktop came with our new home, and I wouldn't have chosen it if the builder wasn't charging such a premium to upgrade the appliances. The gas control knob cracked inside after under a year and it's apparently a common problem with these.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Install, Nice build quality

Had granite put in, so this replaced an old GE Profile cooktop that the wife absolutely hated because it had no pan or shallow one and burners would get food/liquid on them all the time; This one is nicely built and has a deep pan for overflows. Caps on burners prevent food/fluids from penetrating burners.
I would recommend this to a friend!
