Dead Pixel on New projector

I bought an Epson Home Cinema 2040 projector. The overall projector performance seems ok. The main issue is that it has a dead pixel and this is very annoying to watch. I believe this isn't acceptable nowadays.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second projector, everything on it is great, but when watching movie or playing games, it lag. We are forced to stop the frame interpolation mode and to change the color mode to Dynamic.
I recommand to be sure to look for input lag before buying.

Purchased this 2 days ago. Setup was very easy, right off the box. The image quality was excellent. 4k was a great experience.

No Component On VGA Connection

Despite the specifications, this projector does not support legacy products which use the component video (red/green/blue) analog connections. Old DVD players, or the Nintendo Wii, for example, would not have support with this projector. It's a solid entry level projector which is nice, but has been out for well over a year and the typo on the website still remains in place, confusing customers.

My home theater projector stop working with lines on the screen. We repaired it using some advice from on line. We got it down, and vacuum it, work when it is down on the chair, when we hook up to proper place, stop working. This projector's last about 10 year but use on it is less then 3 year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My 1st Projector, WONDERFUL!

I have always been skeptical about projectors because I've always been picky about my TV picture quality and every Projector I've seen until now has been less than the quality that I would want. That is... Until now!!! This HC-2040 is AWESOME!!!! It isn't as bright as a 4k tv or even close, but if you know that going in to buying a projector then you will be super happy. I figured that I'd sacrifice image quality for image size. The only thing is, is that I didn't sacrifice any image quality at all. This has a WONDERFUL picture quality. Its just not as bright but if you find a quality projector screen then you will be very happy with this product. I love my HC-2040!!! Thanks Epson!!
