Excellent Resolution, even at night!!

I purchased this unit to replace my 5 year old system. My old system was by a different manufacturer and records absolutely nothing at night. Very impressed by the quality of the cameras and how easy it is to setup and actually view remotely. My system uses dynamic dns for my routing, found an alternative app for my android phone that allows me to access my system automatically via dns, the recommended app does not allow for use of a dns address, at least not that I saw.

Initially I thought I wouldn't be able to set these cameras up to live view while away from home due to problems at&t were giving me but the customer service from defender was wonderful. I got them up and running in no time thanks to Michel.

Your Technician Michel provided the best customer service I have received to date. I am 50 years of age and have dealt with my fair share or customer service Reps and their products. The Defender - PRO 8CH Smart Security DVR with 4 Ultra Hi-res Outdoor Surveillance Cameras (21112) is a awesome Surveillance system. I am recommending this product to anyone interested in home surveillance. I purchased this product from Sam's Club and saved a bundle.

Great system!

I bought this system to keep my home secure and prevent the riff raff coming near my house. Eight cameras around my house should do the trick. I installed it myself. It went really well. I ran a video wire from the DVR in the office, thru the attic, to the living room TV. Now, when the doorbell rings, I can see who it is right from my couch.

I chose this camera mainly because of all the included cameras and the large hard drive. It has helped me make sure my house is safe when I'm away. I especially like the clearvu app so I can look at the cameras anywhere. I had a bad camera but they were quick to replace it, thanks Daniela for the wonderful support. The support was really easy to contact and well done.

I am so pleased with this setup and would not trade for any other the cameras are the BEST and quality night and day are WONDERFUL and the once I called and spoke to support tech Michel and he got me up and running on ALL my devices in less than 30 minutes I am soooo HAPPY
