Good system for the money

Bought this system for my home a few months back and it worked great up until a month ago when 2 of the 4 cameras quit recording in color. Had to purchase 2 new cameras and pay to ship defective ones back to Defender for a credit. Hopefully the new ones will solve the problem. Other that that the system works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy setup

this system was easy to set up, the hardest part is routing the wires. also the camera brackets wont allow you to mount them to a surface above it (ceiling, soffit). the picture quality is great.

Good Product, Very Pleased Thus Far

I purchased the 21112 system for my business and surrounding property and although there was an issue with one of the cameras only showing black and white images, the camera was exchanged with no fuss (one demerit for the faulty camera). The day images are very good, night images good provided there is a little light (even moonlight helps). Setup wasn't difficult although getting the phone app to work was challenging and a third party was needed to resolve this issue. The inability to do a record search on the phone app is something that Defender should improve or correct. Phone app images are very good also so no complaint there. Back to the main system, wish you didn't have to go through the record search to review something that happened just minutes earlier, would be nice if you could rewind/review the current day without this step. Nonetheless, it's serving the purpose for which it was intended and I'd recommend it for home or small business use. Good product, hopefully it will work for years. Customer service requires you opening a case via email to resolve an issue, once someone got back to me (within one day) they were very helpful and cooperative.

We were so happy to see that our package arrived so quickly, we opened it up and realized it was the wrong model number. We called customer service and spoke to Michel who expedited our order to us immediately, and corrected the problem.
