Great features but sorry customer support.

Bought this a week ago. Good product and many features. Regrettably the customer service (or better yet, disservice), I found to be well below industry standards. I had no problem with the physical installation however the connections to local network and to internet was a complete disaster. I worked very hard for two days trying to make the system work with no avail. Waited hours to get a tech support also to no avail. No way around the robot receptionist. I don't know if Defender will choose to post this review or not but let it be known that this is a very disgruntled customer. I will remove all equipment that I installed, package it and return all for a refund first thing tomorrow. I have attempted several times to resolve this issue but I am left with no other choice. Buy the product if you want to but you better not need any assistance from Defender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good system for in door environments as well as outside. The cameras are small but seem to work well. I doo wish there was a way to focus them or zoom, but I can't seem to locate it. Cheap, but effective.

My Defender Is Great

My wife and I did a lot of research before we decided on the defender. We choose it because of the simplicity of use. The features offered. The services and support offered after the purchase. Above all the price was right for what we wanted. The security that is offered with our package was outstanding. It made us feel safe in our home like never before.

I researched every unit there is and I decided on this unit do to price and features. I'm glad I did. It was a breeze to setup and the quality is great. Now my wife and I can check out what's going on at home on our phones when we are out. It's awesome.

Works right out of the box

I purchased this to monitor a horse riding arena, So far it has worked as advertised. A little tricky to get the internet acccess up and running , but finally got it. I am satisified so far with what it does.

The cameras work great. Setting up was incredibly easy. I even had to return a camera and Defender sent out a replacement very quick.
