The Keurig Kold is reasonably priced if you catch it on sale. It is used regularly by the family but we don't stock up on store soda. This seemed to help control what we drink besides those liter bottles. So far, the quality of the branded soda pods tastes like the store brands. The carbonation lasts about the same as an opened soda can. The 8oz is a good choice considering outside the US that is a common size for a soda. You can definitely taste the freshness of the product. Would like to see more branded varieties besides the craft ones. The pod packs need to be increased to a 6pk vice the 4pk and priced around $3.99 for a 6pk. It is pricy to make a soda at home but its definitely worth it and a treat for the kids as they enjoy making their own but only if the pods are on sale. Also consider a tonic pod with maybe a seltzer water pod in the future. Haven't had any issues besides having to re-prime 3 times after the initial setup of the unit for the karbon beads to activate and the unit dispensing the product correctly.
Pros: No Aluminum Taste, Great For Guests, Easy to clean, Fun For The Family
Cons: Drinkmaker Is Expensive, Bulky, Clear On Initial Use, Setup Instrictions Aren't, Kold Pods Are Expensive

Love Keurig Kold. It is easy to use. You can use it all day long. You do not have to add a carbonator cartridge like the other machine, which I like the most about. I have tried almost all the pods and they all tast great. The Dr. Pepper taste like Dr. Pepper you would buy at the store in a can. Pods do cost alot. You could offer more pods in a package. Also make bigger sizes pods.
Pros: Easy to use, Use It All The Time, Taste great, Alot Of Coke Beverages, No Carbonator Cartridge

For the family that entertains

I was very excited to be able to review the Keurig Kold. The Kold pods that were included were some of my favorite flavors. I was surprised, however, how bulky the Keurig Kold unit was, and was unsure where I could place it in our kitchen. We do not have a lot of counter space, and this took up a huge portion of it...we needed to move it to the island, so it could have enough air circulation. It took well over 6 hours to "chill" before we could prime it (helped that we moved it from under the upper cabinets). To our disappointment, the first 3 Orange Cream Kold pods were faulty. The result was seltzer water...the orange flavor did not come out for some reason. Tried the lemon-lime flight, which worked great...and then a root beer that worked great, as well. So, it was evidently the orange cream that was just a bad batch. We were impressed with the "magic" of the carbonated beads. :) The flavors were all very tasty. I am a fan of Coca-Cola Classic and when I tried it today, it was fabulous! All in all, we have enjoyed using the Keurig Kold, but it takes up so much room, I am not sure where we will place it going forward...will have to do some rearranging! I wish that we had the option of a bigger portion at times. With three teenage boys, 8 oz. of a beverage often is not enough. I don't know how much the Kold pods will be sold for...we are pretty frugal and I would have to feel that it is worth the price over buying 2 liter bottles for our family. I can definitely see that this would be a great option for a family who entertains often and wants the novelty of this and the variety of drinks that it offers.
Pros: Good Flavors, Portion Control, Entertainment For Family, Something For Everybody, Right Amount-carbonation
Cons: Takes Long Time To Make, 8 Oz Not Enough At Times, Takes up too much space

Quick beverage dispenser!! Plenty of varieties to choose from!! So easy to use! The machine is bulky, but for obvious reasons! Awesome that the soda is made right in front of me!

Quick way to enjoy a cold drink!

My family has enjoyed the Keurig Kold! My girls are allowed only one juice or soda a day, so the Kild has helped regulate that. Once their pod is gone for the day, it's gone. They also enjoy making the drinks and waiting on them to dispense. The drinks are dispensed really cold and the perfect amount. It does take up a lot of room on the counter. And depending on the price of the pods, I don't know if it will be practical.
Pros: Fresh Never Flat Soda, Fast, Cold
Cons: Large Size

Almost but not quite

I loved using the product and will continue using the product for drinks such as teas, sports drinks, and seltzers. It was very easy to set up the machine and is simple to place the pod in the machine and create and drink. There were several things I do not like about the Keurig Kold. One was that it was difficult finding a good spot for the machine since it was very big. The second is that it makes a loud humming noise while it is plugged in and can be heard in my kitchen and living room at all times. The last thing is about the soft drink pods. It seemed as though some drinks had too much syrup in the pod such as the diet coke pod, and some such as dr pepper, didn't have enough so you tasted too much carbonated water. I probably will not use the machine for soft drinks in the future, but I am in love with the teas and other products. I am overall satisfied with the product, and can not wait to see what the future holds for Keurig Kold products.

Cons: Can Be Loud, Soft Drinks Not Good, Big Machine
