I will prelude in stating despite this review I will probably buy one in the future, but will wait a little bit in case there are some common problems that arise that need an immediate fix by Keurig. Now think about it, for the price of this machine you can buy a used commercial grade Pepsi machine (with cash left over) and stock it with pop that cost less than half the price of the pods. So as far as this being cost effective I find that hard to swallow. Most people don't have room like myself to have commercial grade soda machines in their home (actually the garage is a good place for it), but that still leaves the price of the pods. Over $1 per 8 ounces. Let's hope with more competition and time the price comes down and I'm sure the technology of this machine will only get better. I am a big Keurig supporter and am not trying to be insulting, just making what I believe are objective observations.

This machine is great when it works correctly! The pods are a great idea, especially since you have Coca Cola products to choose from! While I had success with about half of the carbonated pods, half of them were wasted because they did not process correctly. Many times I ended up with only carbonated water. The non-carbonated pods process correctly every time. The machine itself is very large, takes almost as much space as a microwave and has to stay on/plugged in at all times. A power button with a quick cool down option would be great. I did have to contact customer service and they were amazing. I had to send one machine back and the replacement machine arrived within 24 hours. Sadly the replacement machine did not perform better than then first. I was provided this machine to test complimentary.
Pros: Unique, Fun, New
Cons: No Power Option, Bulky, Not Green, Not Economical

This machine is huge and loud. It takes 2 hours before it is ready to use, it has actually taken more than 3 hours for mine to be ready sometimes! It is very pricey for the machine and the pods. This is not very convenient or practical. The sodas I tried were very good though and carbonated and the concept is neat.
Pros: Sodas Are Good, Neat Idea
Cons: Loud, Too Big, Expensive, Takes too long

The Keurig Kold is bulky in my opinion. When I received this my first thought was holy cow this thing is huge!! Where am I going to put it?! Luckily I found a place for it, and plugged it in. I would say the initial start up of 2 hours for it to chill is ridiculous, I would rather add ice to my drink than to wait that long. Or at least give me an option. Not to mention to avoid doing this each time you have to leave it plugged in at all times, which they say uses the same power as a mini fridge.. don't use this if you're trying to save on your power bill every month! On to the drinks, I thought that all the choices it came with tasted pretty awesome, the Coke tasted like a coke slightly off by a little, the Dr Pepper was fantastic but the Cane Cola was by far my favorite! I will say that if I did not receive this to try for my unbiased opinion I would NOT buy this just to use. The pods are ridiculously expensive only 4 pods(8oz each) for $4.99 when I can go to the grocery store and buy a 12 pack of Dr Peppers in a 12oz for at the most $4. Just doesn't seem like a cost efficient method at all. I received the product complimentary in exchange for your unbiased review.

I received this item free, for the purpose of testing and reviewing the product and it's accessories. With that said, I have found the machine to be bulky, noisy, and the brewing process a bit time consuming. The pods produce a soda that is spot on to the flavor of the original soda. But with a four pack of pods that produce 8 oz each costing the same price as a 12 pack of 12 oz cans in the same brand, this system can never replace the way we consume soda. I think this is a great idea, but the execution is poor.
Pros: Nice looking machine
Cons: Pods Are Too Expensive, Time Consuming, Noisy, Too Large

I was super excited to use this product. And then I got it out of the box. This machine is HUGE. I have an ordinary house and there is no counter space to host it on a regular basis. Sodas get consumed daily in my house, so with 4-8 oz glasses costing roughly $5, this product makes no sense for me. Sure it would be great if I didn't drink sodas regularly and needed something on hand for guests, but that just isn't me. The drinks don't taste any different to me than they would out of a can or bottle. I'm sure that it is any "fresher" out of this machine. I also didn't like that there isn't an on/off switch. I don't love having this machine on 24/7. It took over 3 hours to get ready the first time I plugged it in so it isn't great when you want a cold drink right then. Overall, I wasn't impressed with this product. I think there are somethings that Keurig could improve on it.

Love the machine. I do not think its Noisy like other reviews have said .. The 1st set up it is but after that its not bad at all. love to use the machine to get a nice cold glass of pop, taste is good i've found you need to give it a stir after its done to get the full mix of the drink, and sometimes it has the taste of over carbanation but overall i love it. pod price is high would like to see the price get lowered over time.

THE KEURIG KOLD IS A FANTASTIC CONCEPT. MORE THAN ANYTHING WE DIDN'T LIKE THE FLAVOR OF THE DRINKS AND WE TRIED THEM ALL, TOO MUCH CARBONATION/WATER TO DRINK MIX RATIO. IT WAS LIKE DRINKING BUBBLES AND MISSING THE SODA FLAVOR. THE MACHINE IS LARGE AND TAKES UP A BIT OF COUNTER SPACE, IDEAL FOR A PARTY ROOM/BAR/MAN CAVE. IT TOOK ALMOST 3 HRS TO CHILL, UNLIKE THE 2 HOURS THE DIRECTIONS SAY. IT TAKES ABOUT 2 MINUTES TO MAKE A DRINK, NOT BAD FOR INSTANT SODA. I JUST WISH IT HAD TASTED LIKE SODA. THE BEVERAGE GLASSES THAT COME IN THE KOLD PACKAGE WERE SMASHED IN SHIPMENT, NOT SURE IF THIS IS A PROBLEM ACROSS THE BOARD. IF THEY COULD GET THE RATIO RIGHT THIS WOULD BE AWESOME! WE WERE REALLY EXCITED, AND WANTED IT TO BE PERFECT BUT IT'S NOT QUITE THERE YET. YOU ALSO CANNOT TURN THE MACHINE OFF OR YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT THE 3 HOURS TO START IT BACK UP AND GET IT COLD. THAT'S A LITTLE INCONVENIENT IF IT'S NOT ALWAYS IN USE. I WAS GIVEN THIS PRODUCT AS PART OF A REVIEW CAMPAIGN AND NO OTHER COMPENSATION WAS GIVEN FOR MY REVIEW.
