I read the specs before I placed my order and new exactly what I was getting. I got in on sale for less than $300.00 Every drink is perfectly chilled and tastes great. When I shop I sometimes buy what appeals to me, it doesn't always have to be the smallest or most economical product. I consider this a high-end appliance that performs exactly as I had hoped and it is WAY KOOL to boot! I might buy one for the office as well.

Great Idea and Great start

Overall I think the idea is great. Somewhat similar to a soda stream, unfortunately only 10x the size. Since I don't traditionally buy a lot of soda the machine is great for those immediate sporadic soda desires. Prevents me from having to buy a bottle that will ultimately go flat by the time I drink it all. The machine is a bit loud while working but not unbearable. It would be nice to have size options as the current delivery is rather small. Additionally having size options available would also help with the adjusting the strength of the drink.
Pros: Easy And Efficient, Simple, Water reservoir
Cons: Fairly Noisy, Small portion, Machine Size

I think this is one of the most innovative machines to hit the market in a long time. It allows for a one cup serving.

Good but not good enough

I recieved this product last week. First of all it is huge and heavy, it is not meant to be in a small Kitchen. I did what the intruction said and hooked it up for 2 hours (very loud) after the 2 hours I did the rest and it was ready to use and of course I couldn't wait to use it. First one I've tried was the Orange Cream Soda and honestly I didn't expect much from the machine, but when it came out Ice cold and with bubbles + great taste, it just really blew my mind. It's an amazing consept and I have to give credit to the Keurig people for doing something extrodinary. So far I've tried all the flavors and all taste great! But now to the not so good part, even though the Keurig Kold is an Amazing product for the price it is listed I would never buy it, and also the little cups are pretty pricey. Since the little cups are only 1 use I don't see why I would buy a 4 pack for $5 (or more) if I can get a 12 pack for around $3.99. I wish they would make a Soda cup with more than 1 use, basically to get more for your buck! All in all it is a very good product, if you are a person that craves 1 soda every blue moon than this is the thing for you. But for someone that loves soda like me it's a bit pricey and not worth the money to spend.

A fun conversation item for parties

I was super excited about the Keurig Kold and when it came to my door I opened it and tested it out right away. The machine is HUGE and probably weighs about 35 pounds. I struggled just getting it on my counter. The machine needs to chill before use and the can take up to 2 hours. So that means that if you want to use this regularly you pretty much need to leave it plugged in all of the time unless you're okay with a 2 hour wait every time you want soda. Each Kold Pod makes 8 ounces of soda, a 4-pack of pods costs $5 so that is $1.25. That's the same as a 44 ounce soda at my favorite gas station. Plus, once the pods are inserted it takes about 2 minutes for everything to cycle and dispense your soda. I really do like that the machine doesn't need a CO2 cartridge for the carbonation. From what I understand the carbonation is already included in each Kold Pod. Although there isn't quite as much carbination as I would like. There are bubbles just not those crisp bubbles you get from a newly opened can or 2 liter. But that might be a positive for some. I tried the Diet Coke and I think the flavor is totally there. It tastes like Diet Coke and not a generic diet soda. I think think this would be a fun item to have at a party as long as not everyone wanted a drink at the same time. It is definitely something that will get your guests talking. Overall, I am glad that I received this machine for free in exchange for my unbiased review. I will use it and have fun with it, but I would not buy one. With the cost of the machine plus the cost for pods it makes soda really expensive, and more inconvenient to drink.

Love It, Wish it was a Combo

I received the product with additional accessories for my unbiased review, and was overly excited to try it out. Immediately when I got home, I took everything out of the big boxes, set it on the counter, and took all of the tape off. I plugged it in (per instructions) which said would take 2 hours to cool and to keep out of light and away from heat and also keep 2" space away from wall. I stuck it under my cabinet with plenty of space between the walls, and it ran for 9 hours (went to bed) til I unplugged it and moved it away from under the cabinet and it took 10 minutes to complete the cooling. I primed it as per instructions. Probably should have primed more than one time before sticking a pod in there, as I wasted 2 pods of coca cola for carbonated water. I did check a piece inside where the pod rests before closing the lid to make sure that all was flowing through. After I did that, it worked great. I added ice to the reservoir to help keep cool. I do wish that this was a combo unit, as I currently have a Keurig 2.0, and this thing is HUGE! I like the convenience of the pods, as they are not messy like a sodastream syrup is.
Pros: Single Serve, Quick and easy, Very Cold Water, Less Mess, No Ice Needed
Cons: Very Large, Cost, Always Plugged In
