I wanted to love this, but I'm still trying to find the upside. I live in an apartment and counter space is at a premium. This machine is HUGE. I have a Keurig coffee maker and the Kold is about 2.5x bigger. For its size, though, for one pod, I get about a cup. 8oz of beverage for $1.25 (avg) a pod? It's expensive considering a 2L bottle of soda is $2.50 at my local store. I love the concept of the machine, but it still needs some work.
Pros: No Carbonator Needed, Great taste
Cons: Bulky Heavy, Expensive

I love the Kold... Its fun and easy to use. It is a little on the slow side, but that's ok. Keeps you from pouring more unless you really want it. I do wish that it had a filter. I also think its kind of sad that the Coke pods don't have REAL sugar. Come on Coke this is a premium product; use premium ingredients. I have forgotten to take the foil freshness seal off several times.... Maybe you guys could make it red or make the tab longer so its more noticeable that I'm forgetting something.

My family and I have been using the KOLD for a few days now and we have really grown to love it. It's easy to use...even for the kids...and makes nice, cold drinks that don't need ice. My husband, who is a soda fanatic, loves how fresh the soda comes out...it's nice and bubbly. The water reservoir holds enough water to make 4 or 5 drinks, which is enough for our entire family. The only downside is that the KOLD is a little bit bulky and takes up a lot of space on the kitchen counter. It is pretty quiet, although it does take a couple of hours to get cold when you first plug it in, and then it is noisy. Overall, this is a nice addition to our kitchen!
Pros: Easy to use, Soda Is Super Fresh, No Need For Ice, Lots of variety
Cons: Drinks Are Small, Drinks Can Be Pricey, Little Bulky

I absolutely Love my Keurig KOLD! Set Up The machine comes very well wrapped in the box to prevent it from being damaged. It has tape on areas of the machine to protect it and keep it in tact. It was very easy to remove from the box for set up. It is very easy to set up. It only takes a few steps to get it ready to go. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The longest wait is after it is plugged up initially, the instructions state you have to wait about 2 hours to allow it to chill before use. I waited a little over 2 hours which wasn't a big deal. It took mine about 2 and a half hours to chill. Functionality I love the fact that the machine cannot only make sodas, but it can make seltzers, craft sodas, tonics, mixers, cocktail mixers, iced teas, sports drinks, flavored waters, and just plain water! The pods are very easy to use and they taste exactly like the sodas in the store! Once you insert the pod and press the button, it takes the Keurig less than a minute to make one drink. It would be great if that wait time could be a little less but overall, I think it is a great product and I'm so glad that I have one! Each pod is a single use and it makes about 8 oz of drink. Just enough for a meal! I would highly suggest the Keurig KOLD for soda and water lovers! I love mine!

This product was easy to set up and use. The drink pods are very tasteful. It's great because it's easy to use and produces ice cold drinks! The only thing I can see that's not so great is that you can buy a 12 pack of can soda for less than you can a package of 4 of the pods. I am very interested in trying the cocktail pods.

First off, this machine is MASSIVE. I had to put it on a small folding tray/table in my dining room as it wouldn't fit anywhere in my kitchen. The drinks come out good, when it works. On one pack of pods, it took me 3 tries before I got one that produced anything but water. At the price of these pods, it stinks to have it be hit or miss like that. $5 for 4 pods is a bit much. No? I can get 5 bottles of store brand soda at that price and taste just as good. And not worry about possibly not getting soda from it. *I received the product complimentary in exchange for your unbiased review.*

First thing I thought of when the box arrived was "This thing is HUGE". Luckily I have a lot of counter space but it is the largest appliance I own. When I got this product, I had guests visiting and we were all excited to try it out. Unfortunately when we set it up, we read it takes 2 hours to chill the water before you can use it. . . . we waited until the next morning. It was also missing a resting pad underneath so it wobbles. The product does work but it takes way too long to produce a drink. I can go to the fridge, get a 12 oz can of soda and move on much faster than I can with this product. I also think the amount of beverage that comes out will not satisfy a normal adult used to having a full can of soda. As far as taste . . . it is closer to fountain drinks than can soda, ie a little more "watered down" and "less sweet". . . not necessarily bad things, just something to note. It is nice not needing a CO2 canister however, paying $1.25 / pod (8oz glass) of soda is far too high when you can get a can of that same soda for a fraction of the costs. . . it would make sense if you were in an office environment competing with vending machines, not the fridge in your house and a "big box" store. In my opinion, Kuerig missed the target on this product. . . at a time when more people are not drinking soda (focused on fitness) and are more conscience of the environment (pods are huge), I see this as being a flop on the market.

Cons: Loud Humming When On, 8oz Not Enough, Takes too long, Can Only Makes 6 Cups, Large Bulky Item, Pods Are Too Expensive, Needs Continuous Power

Great idea, however falls short on execution

The Keurig Kold DrinkMaker was much bigger than I thought. I have a lot of counter space, so this wasn't a problem for me. I like the idea of using Keurig pods to make a cold flavored drink, however I felt this product felt short in a few ways. First, each pod makes only 8 ounces of flavored water or soda and takes 90 seconds. Based on the size and the cost of the pods, I would think it would make more than 8 oz. A box of 4 pods ranges from $4.49 to $4.99. That brings each 8 oz drink costs over $1. For a similar price, you can buy a 12 pack of soda cans (12 oz each). I could see myself using this product regularly if I could make a pitcher of cold tea or flavored water quickly with 1-2 pods. Another way this product falls short is the waste created by using the (rather large) pods. Finally, the cost for the drinkmaker is rather high considering you aren't even saving any money when making these drinks at home. With that said, I did enjoy the drinks that I made with this product. I tried the Canada Dry Gingerale, some flavored seltzer waters, and flavored still waters. The drinks were flavorful and the temperature was perfect. It was nice not having ice water the drinks down. This would be fun to use when entertaining so multiple beverage options are available and not taking up space in the refrigerator. Overall, this is a neat idea, however I don't think it's for me. I would rather buy canned soda and recycle the cans, then use 1 pod per 8 oz of soda.
