Great in theory...

My first thought when the product arrived was "wow, this thing is huge!" It takes up a lot of counter space. I'm not sure how reasonable it is to think I would keep the Keurig Kold out long term. The product does live up to the promise of perfectly chilled drinks. The water that comes up is colder than the water from a pitcher kept in the fridge. But, the drink pods are very large, and I have a very hard time believing that they will be less expensive than purchasing traditional beverages. So, again, long term I'm not sure how feasible the Keurig Kold really is. I really wanted to like it, but I'm not sure if I'm likely to buy more pods and continue to use the machine.

The machine is extremely bulky and takes up too much space on the countertop. Soda is only 30 some cents a can, but I can imagine the pods would be more expensive than that. We received about 6 different pods and one of them was broken open and didn't work. The soda doesn't taste any better than soda that would come from a can. It takes about 30 seconds for the machine to make the soda and it only makes 8 soda's before the machine has to take 2 hours to get to the needed temperature. What is great the variety that you would have and the fact you wouldn't have the soda taking up your refrigerator. Overall I wouldn't purchase this product. Unfortunately, it's just too space and time consuming.

I was really impressed with this product. However, the first pod I used (after following all the instructions to the letter) was defective and didn't dispense the syrup in the carbonated water. I think this is a great maker to have, especially for someone who doesn't typically have sodas/juice in the house. I don't really enjoy hot drinks, but I am always reaching for a cold flavored drink and this gives me the convenience that I want! This will be great for mixed drinks, flavored water, giving everyone their own personal choice of beverage without using up all the fridge space, and I LOVE the proportioned sizes. It makes for a well balanced choice!.

Keurig Kold is an impressive beverage making appliance. The taste of beverages are fantastic and exactly what you expect. The appliance is innovative and exciting to use. Personally, I think the Red Barn Root Beer is excellent and you can only get it through the Keurig Drinkmaker.

Keurig Kold is Pure Gold!

I use the product to make afternoon drinks for my teenagers. I can't count how many times I've had to throw away soda cans that were full of soda. With the Keurig Kold there's never any wasted drink. The children especially love the flavored varieties that were included. I love the canister that makes selecting a drink easy and painless. We haven't especially mastered making large amounts of drink successfully yet, but plan to continue working on that.

Fun, But Not Cost Effective!

I really enjoyed this drink maker and was super impressed by the concept! It makes delicious drinks that are cold and taste awesome! I don't think I'll be using it much though as the cost for the pods just don't make it cost effective. The other issue I have is the serving size, I wish the pods were double the servings 8 oz doesn't go far. Overall, I enjoy using this as a leisure product, but don't see myself using it day-to-day. Hopefully when/if the prices go down on the pods I'll be able to get more use out of the machine.

I received the Kold as a part of an Influentster campaign. I love that I can get the fountain taste at home. Most canned/bottled drinks don't taste the same as the fountain. I also don't feel guilty about drinking soda because the portion size is just right. I don't really like how heavy or noisy it is, but I do understand that it may be required for the capabilities. Sometimes the wait times between each drink could be shorter. I have not been able to make back-to-back drinks yet. Overall I am enjoying the Kold.
Pros: Real Fountain Taste, All-in-one, Licensed Products, Just Right Serving Size, Just Right Temperature
Cons: Somewhat noisy, Wait Time Between Drinks, A Bit Bulky
