Keurig KOLD "Kool" but...

I received the Keurig Kold brewer & all accessories in the mail through influenster to test & review. It is a beautiful machine. Looks great on my counter but also takes up a lot of space. It is a very big machine. It works great & makes a delicious cold beverage but I feel that it takes too long to brew a single drink. Also I don't like that there are no options only 8oz size. I feel that the pods are expensive. 4 8oz soda pods for almost $5. When you can buy a 2 liter bottle for $1. Also was hoping there would be some form of iced coffee pods.
Pros: Cold Drinks, Single Servings, Nice looking
Cons: Too Slow, Pricey Pods, Very Large Machine

This is a fun novelty and the kids love it. My kids ask specifically for magic soda machine drinks, which we occasionally will give as a treat. 8 ounces works great for this purpose. It's not the most cost effective way to have soda/cola, but it is handy. Once you have the pods you need, you always have the variety on hand for family and guests, and it doesn't cost you the room in your refrigerator. That said, I would hope the price of the unit and the pods drop over time -- if it does, this idea would really take off. Also, if the speed of the drink making process improves (which I imagine it will with iteration) it will make a big difference. Frankly, I look at it as I do the coffee maker, which is to start the process and do other things for a minute or two. Overall, a really cool concept and the family is enjoying it so far.
Pros: Variety, On Demand, Convenient

I was provided this unit as an early Christmas gift. While I enjoy the machine, I find it to be a hassle having to have two large Keurig machines on my counter top. I strongly suggest that anyone considering a purchase of such a machine should wait until Keurig develops a machine that provides hot and cold beverages via one unit and not the current two units that are required.

We couldn't wait to get this plugged in & working! I was AMAZED at how this tasted JUST like a soda anywhere else, but even better! I wish it gave more liquid than 8oz, but that's okay. It's great! No complaints!

Keurig Cold is Awesome!

I received Keurig Kold, wire carousel & To-go tumbler in exchange for my review of the product & I must say I am very pleased with Keurig Kold. I am an avid Coca Cola drinker & admit that I was very skeptical of how the different flavors would taste (especially the Coca Cola), the combination of the carbonation & how one pod contains such deliciousness! My entire family used Keurig Kold, my 13yr old son was happy that the Dr.Pepper tasted just like Dr.Pepper & really liked the Rootbeer as well, my boyfriend (who's not much of a soda person) tried the Passion Fruit, Blissful Berry & Flyte Lemon Lime flavors & was very impressed with the flavor & commented that he didn't experience any after taste as with most flavored waters or sports drinks. I myself had to try the Coke & I can honestly say it truly tastes how Coca Cola is supposed to taste, I know Coca Cola & I was not disappointed, I also tried the Dr. Pepper & Rootbeer & yes still not disappointed with the taste. i also used the to go tumbler & it's an excellent addition as it does help keep your pop from going flat & keeps your drink cold longer. The only issues I have with the machine is that it is a bit bulky, however I don't drink coffee, so I don't have a lot of items taking up my counter space so to me it's ok, I also had an issue with one of my pods the syrup didn't come out at all & I had taken the protective cover off but for some reason it didn't dispense & the only other gripe I'd say is that it only dispenses 8oz at a time. Overall Keruig Kold is a really good product & I'm glad to have had the chance to try it out & can't wait to try more flavors!

Cool theory, but falls flat

While I love Keurig and the thought of making sodas at home, this machine just hasn't worked for me. I've wasted pod after pod, with only 1 out of 3 sodas coming out at a time. They do come out cold, which is great. I am wondering what costs of the pods will be versus canned sodas. That will be a biggie. The machine takes up a large amount of counter space and has a constant humming that is an annoyance to me in a small apartment at night. I really, really want to love it, but I'm going to have to say wait and see what happens.

Cons: Very Bulky, Pods Worked 13 Of Time, Noisy, Cost Of Pods

Great drinks but giant machine

When I got the box, I was surprised at how big it was compared to a typical Keurig machine. Unboxing it made me realize it was still gigantic. It looks beautiful and I love that it doesn't require CO2 like other machines. The flavors are great and I love how it's fresh — which is strangely unique. My only issue is that it feels unnecessarily big, but I'm guessing v2 and later iterations will work on this. Otherwise, its's an amazing machine that creates amazing drinks!
Pros: Looks great, Delicious, Easy to use, Great taste, No Co2 Tank, Low Maintenance
Cons: Giant Machine, Large Footprint

Keurig Kold

I could not wait for my new Keurig Kold to be delivered so I could try it out. The machine itself is pretty big and quite heavy and a downside was that you had to wait 2 hours for the Keurig to be ready to make a cold beverage. My Keurig made a very loud noise and did not pump the water. I tried to reset it a few times but each time it did not work. I called into Keurig to do some troubleshooting steps to see if we could get it fixed over the phone. The guy I talked to was very polite and answered all my questions. Unfortunately he was not able to help me fix it but assured me that someone from corporate would call me the next day. The next day Pam from their corporate office called me first thing in the morning and told me she would ship out a new one plus another package of pods (since I had used some that got wasted) She emailed me a label so I could send out the keurig that wasn't working so they could analyze it. The Keurig was on my doorstep the next day. Keurig's customer service was excellent! After setting up the Keurig and letting it sit for the 2 hours, I finally was able to try it out! First drink I made was the gingerale, I was surprised at how much it tasted just like the canned soda you buy from the store. I had always heard that the other brand soda makers did not always taste the best, however the Keurig Kold's soda was cold, carbonate and tasted awesome! The pods seem a little expensive for only getting 4 in a box since normally you could get about two 12 packs for the price. Since then we have tried the Root Beer, the Lime sports drink and the Orange Soda and they are all very tasty. The Keurig Kold is a little pricey but a very neat machine. I would definitely recommend to friends!
