I just received the keurig kold brewer I love the idea of making your own sodas, teas, flavored waters! So far I have only made sodas and they actually taste as good as bottled sodas(cola)The ginger ale is not flavorful. Actually taste gross. The machine it's self is too big! But it is convenient and brews fast cold drinks!

Too large takes up way to much counter space, Noisy constantly running, some pods appear to be flat, it cheaper to purchase a 2liter from supermarket than to buy pods

I have purchased several Keurig items and was excited to try this new product but was slightly disappointed. Right off the bat, the machine was quite large and took several hours more than the listed 2 hours to chill for the first time...closer to 5...and it was extremely loud during this entire process. Once it chilled, the machine did quiet down but still had a distinctive hum. I tried 6 varieties of pods and all tasted great...once the 1-2 minutes to brew passed. I would like to see that be quicker, especially if you want to make several drinks in a row. Would be a great addition for someone who only wants a small amount to drink at a time and who doesn't want to store a bunch of pop and drinks. The pods are much more convenient than 2 liter bottles or cans.
Pros: Convenient, Nice variety
Cons: Slow To Brew, Very loud, Large Machine Size

Huge innovation -- works as promised

We ordered a Kold machine for our office. We received the machine first and there were no pods in the box; the pods were shipped separately and we received them the next day. Set up is easy. The machine feels durable/sturdy and you can tell it's well made and of high quality. Took about two hours to initially cool, as it says. The drinks come out perfectly every time and taste great -- not like fountain drinks but as if they were poured from a can or bottle. Comes out cold, as promised. In short, this is a great machine, a huge innovation and, if Keurig can get the price down over time, will be sure to get a huge consumer adoption. I would highly recommend it -- and I am not receiving anything for this review.
Pros: Takes Like The Real Deal, Drink Comes Out Cold, Convenient, Consistent Flavor

I was excited to try this new Kold machine. It took a few hours after initial setup to be able to try the first drink. It took a few tries to get a constant product. You have to not he gentle while putting in the cartridges. All the carbonated beverages I've tried have a distinct seltzer flavor. I'm not sure that the product is cost effective.
Pros: Fresh Brewed
Cons: Hit And Miss, Costly, Tastes Like Seltzer

Great for home use

I ordered this when it launched. Got the machine on Thursday and the sodas that I ordered on Friday. Set it up Friday night when I got home from work. Took over an hour to chill, but not the full two hours. At first I was concerned about the 8oz serving size, but I find it is actually perfect. It delivers a very cold and fresh soda to the glass (even the glass feels cold when you pick it up after dispensing). Rather than pouring a big glass of soda from a 2L bottle, this provides a cold and tasty serving on demand. I have not tried making floats yet, but like that you can quickly make a cold beverage right at home. I'm trying to limit soda so this helps keep portions more in line, and not having to deal with soda bottles and cans is nice also. Can easily stock a variety of flavors and selections. Looking forward to some more diet sodas (like diet Dr Pepper!) and other beverage options as they expand the offerings. Hopefully the beverage prices will drop soon. But if you are looking for a way to have fresh dispensed beverages at home I would highly recommend this. I had looked at the soda stream but did not like having to deal with the carbonation bottles. These beverage pods concept works well. Been using it for about two weeks now with no problems. Quiet, only was notably loud during the initial refrigeration process to prep the machine. Really like the concept of a cold carbonated beverage on demand rather than keeping bottles or cans of soda around.

Was hesitant to order because of the bad reviews. Have a soda stream....terrible favors, expensive gas canister, plus had to buy extras. This is a wonderful addition to our counter. The taste of the soda is amazing, good variety, and proper proportions. Soda is suppose to be a treat, not the main dietary staple. It is somewhat large, but we overlook that because of the convienence and flavor. It frees up the refrigerator of all those water bottles chilling for the soda stream. Love it over ice too. This is a winner for me. Glad I decided to try it, instead of depending on the reviews. The only down side for me, is the cost of the pods. $1 a piece is high, but again, since pop is a treat......
Pros: 'not Noisy, No More Wasted Flat Soda, Love The Brand Name Soda, Great taste, Gives The Perfect 8 Ounce, Very convenient

I love it. Yea it is heavy, but like any other appliance you set it up once, and done, you have a fresh cold soda in about 1 minute. Pods are a little high but baby I worth it.
