Great For Cold Sodas At Home!

The Keurig KOLD Drinkmaker is one of the best home appliances I have ever used! You add non carbonated water and one of the soda pods and in seconds you have a cold and refreshing soda! The Drinkmaker also makes Sweet Tea, Flavored Water, Ice Coffee and all different types of Sodas. The pods were easy to place in the machine and with a click of the button it is ready to go. These sodas taste better than regular fountain drinks and the great thing is you can make it right at home. I am very impressed with this Drinkmaker and Keurig has a winner on their hands with the new Keurig KOLD Drinkmaker!
Pros: Easy to use, Fresh, Great flavor

Absolute garbage

I have put about 20 pods thru this machine and it has almost entirely stopped working already. It is very very loud. Takes forever to chill. I had a pod spontaneously combust the other day so I have small carbonation beads all over my kitchen. Half the time it does not work correctly so you waste about half of your pods. I am so disappointed with this kitchy purchase. Never again and do not waste your money.

Cons: Limited Variety, Loud, Flat Taste

Great Flavor, but Size an Issue

The box came and I have to say I was SHOCKED at how big it was, but I was excited to try it out. I thought maybe it was all packing and the machine may not be that big...no, it was large. That was an issue. If counter space is a problem, you are going to need to steer clear of this machine. I do like the options of colors though. While I understand that it needs a cooling mechanism, I don't understand why it needs to be THAT large and why it needed to be on for 2 hours (mine took over 2 hours) to get ready to cool and then it has to STAY on. Sorry, but I am not going to want to run a mini-fridge. Let's talk about the great stuff here! The drinks! They were wonderful!! We had Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Red Barn Cola, Citrus Flavored Water and Seraphine Lime. So far we have tried the Coke (which is really good and even tastes a little cleaner than regular Coke) and the Dr. Pepper. The drinks always come out ice cold with the glasses being cold to touch. I personally like ice in my drinks so I added some. Be forewarned. If you are going to add ice, do so slowly and over the sink because the drink WILL fizz ALOT! I just think that the machine needs to be smaller and work on getting an on/off switch somehow because in days where everyone is wanting to save energy, this machine is using it up!

1. This machine is a monster (in size). 2. Hate that it takes 2 hours to "cool down" aka turn on. 3. I have received a faulty machine and it does not puncture the carbonated beverages correctly. They are creating a fix but in the mean time I am waiting on my replacement machine after two 30 minute customer service calls. 4. Great concept. Poor execution. I received this product complimentary in exchange for my unbiased review

Wow, where to start. This was another unfortunate early morning hangover purchase - looked very cool so I bought it. Concept is solid but holy moly this thing is HUGE - takes up a lot of counter space. Pods are expensive - I mean like 5x the price of soda purchased by 12 pack. Device is slow to operate and only generates an 8 oz portion (too small). Pods only available via mail order and given the price point, I can't imagine any local retailers expending shelf space for these overpriced products. Consider it a lesson learned - once I finish up the last of my initial stock (Waterful Blissful Berry - equivalent is ice water with 1/4 serving of Kool Aid (cost about .14)) - this monstrosity is going back in the box. Perhaps I will re-gift it to someone who I don't really like.

The cost of unit and drink mixes is way too high .The unit is way too big and bulky . Good idea ,but price and size need to come down a lot on all products ,hot and cold makers and mixes and k-cups .

Thought it would be great office soda machine but too expensive, some cartridges are defective, taste on some needs improvement, and takes too long to make drink. Office staff stopped using it

Love Hate Relationship

I love this... It's simple and easy to use. Showed my 5 year old grand daughter and she already makes her own drinks. Flavors are great and spot on to the sodas! I wish it would turn off. Sometimes I might not use it for a day or two yet there's this constant humming noise coming from the kitchen. I hear it when stepping into the house. I wanted two of these.. one for home and one for the store, but I decided it would benefit me much more to wait for this improvement. It just sounds like it's sucking the energy right into my monthly bill lol Drinks are small so I make two at a time to get my usual. But on the other hand some times a small one before bed is good and I waste less than normal. Last... I'm ready for you to come out with bigger boxes to order from so we can drop the cost a bit. I compared my daily drink expenses at Sonic to the use of this and it averages the same. If you had bigger quantity at cheaper prices like you do with the coffee this would be much more worth it.
