The new Keurig KOLD is great! I set it up in the office and everyone loves it. There has been a constant queue at the KOLD Drinkmaker since I took it out of the box. The only thing that disappointed the team was that it takes 2 hours for the system to get cold. After that, its been great! The Kold Drinkmaker has been keeping up with the demand in an office environment.
Pros: Looks great, Tastes great, Simple to Use, Guests Love It, Easy To Set Up, Quality Machine
Cons: Need A Commercial Version, A Bit Larger Than Expecte
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Technology

At first I have to admit it seemed a bit big. However, the overall beefy-ness has grown on me and actually kind of adds to my appreciation of it now. It's a pretty amazing piece of technology in my opinion when you consider that it cools and carbonates without ice or CO2. It gives off a tech "wow" factor like the first generation of iPhone. The sodas also taste amazing, for some reason they just taste "fresher" than cans. Definitely hope the pods become easier to recycle down the road and they come out with a machine that can do both hot and cold, but if you have the counter space and can afford it, it's really pretty amazing.
I knew the Keurig KOLD Drink maker was coming out in the fall 2015 from advertisements. Looked forward to buying it, as the Keurig brand is trusted in my household. When the holidays came, the drink maker was out so purchased the Keurig KOLD Drink maker as a gift. Keurig KOLD Drink maker comes in a good-sized box, but is not heavy. Specs read the maker weighs about 24 pounds. I would agree. Package includes with drink maker, couple of glasses, and instructions. The Kold maker is BIG. It does take up quite a bit of counter space. This was rather surprising, as it does not look this large in the pictures. First thing after opening the box - rinse/clean all the washable parts. Mine had dust in it. Then assemble, fill, plug it in and FORGET ABOUT IT FOR ABOUT 2-3 HOURS. If you do not leave the Kold plugged in, always know it is going to that that amount of time to chill before it is ready to make drinks. We unplug ours after dinner and plug in when we make coffee in the morning so it is ready by lunch. This Kold is like a mini fridge. It will take about 2-3 hours to chill the water to the 39/40 degree water to make the soda. The maker has lights to signal when it is ready to make 8 oz. drinks. The Kold can make up to six drinks in a row. You can put ice in the water resouver to speed up the chilling - this is called "Party mode". We used filtered water and ice. May be it just us, but we think the drinks taste better. The drink maker does not have a water filter as the K-coffee 2.0 coffee makers do. The maker is a little noisy when it makes drinks. I compared it the decibels of a vacuum cleaner. Creates drinks in seconds - so it is fast. No Co2 cartridges as the Co2 are in the induvial pods. We liked this as we never have to worry about running our or have old cartridges. The variety of pods is great. We bought one box of every kind of soda, water and tea to try. We went through the pods fast during the holidays. Everyone had his or her favorite drink. So far, all the brands tasted good. The pods seem to be money saving if you buy in the larger quantities. Unlike bottled soda, we have no waste as we make what is needed. No more flat soda or huge plastic bottles to recycle. Drinks claim to have 100 calories of less. Unlike other soda makers - there are sodas, waters and other drinks that are name brands that consumers are familiar with and enjoy. While we do enjoy the Keurig brand in general, we are kind of on the fence about this Kold. For the cost of about ~300, it seems rather spendy. The Kold being a gift compensated for this. It will be interesting to see what improvements or changes will come in models to come if they continue to market the drink maker. I would not buy a second Keurig KOLD Drink maker for another gift. We are keeping this one. It is fun and a conversation starter.
Pros: No Waste, No Co2 Cartriages Needed, Brand Name Drinks, Easy To Make Drinks, Drinks Chilled As Made, Perfect Portion 8oz
Cons: Big On The Counter, Can Be A Spendy Device, Loud When It Makes Drinks
I would recommend this to a friend!

Save your money...buy 2 litres instead

I've owned one of these for over a month. it's....a waste of money. My quick review from over a month of ownership: There's little positive I can say. I own a Keurig 2.0 which I use (about 4x's a day on average) and I thought this would be an interesting device to get....wow, I was wrong. -- Here's what I've found: a.) inconsistency in pours with various pods: taste, occasional volume, etc. b.) inconsistency in pods: for example: i can reliably count on it to NOT pour "Persian Lime" correctly [e.g. only the carbonation, none of the syrup] every single time. c.) expensive Kold beverages. seriously....buy a 2 litre and use your icemaker. it tastes better and it's reliably cheap. d.) it's single use and unless you just like cold water (which is about all it'll do without a pod in), it's pretty much a one-trick pony. e.) it devours power...they even tell you that it'll pull down the same amount of power as a mini-fridge. f.) noisy. really loud and slow. I literally start a pour, walk away for 3 minutes and do something else, and....it's just starting to pour by the time I get back. -- so, my net/net review (Keurig, i hope you're reading this)...it's a novel device with a not-so-novel price tag and cost pattern. really wanted to like it but...now I probably can't get rid of it to anyone. what a waste of money. :( cheers, D

I really wanted to like this new product, but there are too many drawbacks -- the cost fo the machine, the space it take on the countertop, the cost of the Kold pods (not to mention many of them did not work -- I'd say about 1 in each box of 4 worked)
Pros: Interesting Concept
Cons: Price, Size
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't see how you can justify charging so much for the machine and for each pod. Or even justify the idea itself. I understand you wasted a lot of money on this project but how is it more convenient than getting a 12 ounce can of soda out of your fridge? It takes more time and money to use the machine than buying cans or bottles. It costs over a dollar a pod that makes 8 ounces of mediocre drinks vs less than a dollar for a cold 12 or 16 ounce drink. Its not even a space saving invention, you take up your shelves or your fridge. As for variety, it still costs less to keep it original and buy cans or bottles. Who thought of this? What a horrible idea. While the machine is taking over a minute to make the drink you have time to walk to the fridge, open a fresh cold can of pepsi and watch the tank you paid over 300 dollars for squirt out 8 ounces of soda carbonized with an ingredient found in kitty litter into a little cup. ENJOY.
Pros: None
Cons: Loud, Big, Expensive, Only 8 Ounces, To Much Energy Used, Waste of time

Thank you for your review. As part of the drink making process, beverages are carbonated by our innovative Karbonator™ beads. These beads are minerals that we manufacture to our exact specifications. They have tiny porous spaces like a sponge. We then fill those spaces with carbon dioxide and pack them into the top chamber of a sparkling KOLD pod for a perfectly carbonating beverage. If you should have any questions or would like to provide further feedback, please contact our team at 855-574-5653. Our team is available seven days a week from 7:00 am to Midnight, EST.

I have made at least one of each sample I received and everything was great! It is also nice that the sodas have less sugar in them, then sodas purchased at the store. I also love that you can make flavored waters and seltzer waters as well. I have also used it to just pour myself a cold cup of water. It is very easy to use and makes soda pretty quickly. Its nice that there is no CO2 to have to replace. The carbonation is perfect and stays fizzy for a while, just like bottled/canned sodas would. The only compaint I have, is that it is pretty loud when it makes the soda. Otherwise, if you are someone who doesn't drink much soda, but do like to have one on occassion, then this is perfect! And I will definitely purchase more of the flavor waters!
Pros: Sodas Are Great, Makes Flavored Water, Makes Soda Quickly, Easy to use, Makes perfect amount
Cons: Loud When Brewing

I was given the Keurig Kold drinkmaker for my birthday as a gift. I am not able to even use it because it came with no K cups With registration info it said you were ble to get some for free. I registered the drinkmaker and proceeded to order the k cups. You only get two free with purchase of two , select brands ,not all. I proceeded to checkout and it would not take the promo code for two free boxes , I had to call customer service. now I have to wait 4 to 7 days to get them in the mail. K cups for Kold system available through website are average 4.99 for k cups pricey Not a huge selection The maker itself is nice looking and seems to be of high quality , it says on box to allow two hours to chill water to cold temp.It is very large and not recommended to those who have small kitchen with limited counter space It aslo has no water filter. I have two Keurig coffee makers , one at home and one at my business and I love them the Keurig Kold as of now, I am not a fan
Cons: Does Not Come With Pods
