the Kold product is great, unfortunately the size of the appliance takes up allot of counter real estate. But we love it!

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good the drinks are with this machine. I do wish the pods were a little less expensive so I could use it more often. And that there were more soft drink options.
Pros: Makes Good Drinks, Easy to use
Cons: Machine Is Loud, Pods Are Expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this machine! Pods are a bit expensive but great for entertaining as well as having a variety of choices on hand at all times. The pods are a lot lighter to carry than a case of soda;)
Pros: Great taste, Variety, Convenient
Cons: Expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not economical -- in space or money

I'm not sure who is the target audience for the Keurig Kold, but it is not me. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest interview. I have previously purchased a Keurig coffee machine. About me - I am a twenty-something living in an apartment and an occasional coffee drinker. This machine was much too large for my kitchen space, and I could hear the humming noise in the next room. Upon testing the product, it works as expected and the beverages have good taste and a satisfying cold temperature. However, I feel that the retail price of the pods is too expensive compared to traditional soda or seltzer products in cans or bottles, and the serving size is too small for me. I also expected this machine to make iced coffee since it is from Keurig, but it does not. Overall - I think the price is far too high for the return, and it doesn't make it more convenient to drink soda. I feel like the Keurig Kold is trying to solve a problem that does not exist.
Pros: Temperature, Soda Flavors Offered, Beverage Quality
Cons: Too Large For Countertop, Pods Are Too Expensive, Takes too long, Does Not Make Iced Coffee, Serving Size Too Small, Noisy

Great idea just not functional.

This was a great idea, but just something that is functional. The machine must always be on in order to make your drink. If you shut it off, you have to wait 2+ hours to wait to use the machine. The expense of the pods are expensive and not something you can run out and buy at the store. I am returning my machine with the 30day satisfaction, but not something that is easy to do. You have to pay for the shipping on something that is 36 pounds so take that into consideration when ordering. That is expensive.
Cons: Expense, Not In Stores
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Economical

It takes 8 k cups per liter, that is $8. A 2 liter bottle of seltzer is $.99. This product shows no innovation within the company. Why not include a CO2 tank that can be used multiple times instead? The initial cost of the product is too steep for the task of it cooling the water. It is a great concept but it seems as though no effort was put into this product to make it affordable to the average person, let alone environmentally friendly. This product along with others, show the greediness of this company.
Pros: Makes Good Product
Cons: Pods Needed For Seltzer, Not Eco Friendly, Lack Of Innovation, It Expensive, Pods Are Expensive, Only Uses Pods, 2l Is 99 1cup Is 1

Thank you for taking the time to review your new Keurig KOLD drinkmaker. This new system is an innovative drinkmaker system which provides a refreshing glass of your favorite cold drink at the push of a button. Each beverage is perfectly carbonated with no CO2 canister, chills to an ideal temperature of 39 degrees and provides a perfectly poured eight-ounce beverage, many of which are 100 calories or less. Our new innovative KOLD™ pods use plastics (polypropylene and PET) that are commonly accepted for recycling. If your community is one of the select communities that accepts items labeled “#7 – OTHER “for recycling, we encourage you to recycle your used KOLD™ pods. Please visit www.KeurigRecycling.com to learn about the recyclability of Keurig® KOLD pods.

Keurig is on to something when they made the Kold. Idea is great, but they somehow lost their way. Off the bat when you look at the machine, this machine is huge. Very bulky, which takes up lots of space on your counter. If you have their coffee machine (the regular one, and not the small one), this Kold machine is much bigger in size. Prep time for the machine is 2 hours. Now this is where Keurig started to lose their way. I have always thought that having Keurig is perfect for people like myself who are always on-a-hurry and on-the-go. 2 hours to prep the machine just to make your beverage is insane! It isn't like the coffee machine where you plug it in, turn it on, and your coffee will be brewing within a matter of minutes..... no, not the Kold. The Kold requires at least 2 hours of prep time before you can have your beverage. Given, you can, if you wish have it on at all times so you don't need the prep time of 2hrs to have an ice cold beverage. But come on, electricity isn't cheap. Its like having another (mini) refrigerator in your home. After the 2hrs (of course, after you have done the initial care with prime and care pod), you can prepare your beverage. But, you cannot just pop it in the machine like your coffee K-cups.You must make sure to first remove the "freshness seal" at the bottom of the pod. Now, if you are way too happy and confident that you already know Keurig machines like myself and didn't bother reading the box, you just messed up your first batch of Kold beverage. Not to mention, wasted a pod. Which, may I remind you, cost $5 for 4 pods. Expensive? yes. Yes it is. That would make about $1.25 per beverage. Kold makes 8oz beverages. Now, if you think about it, a 12pk of canned sodas at the grocery store is about $4. Depending on the sales, you can get it for even less than that. That is a 12 pack! twelve! and they are not 8oz, they are 12oz. So as far as the cost of the drink itself, its better to purchase the canned sodas than to make them with this Keurig machine. Before, I used to think of the Keurig machine as a perfect item for people. Perfect for people on the run. Perfect for people that are tired of wasting coffee by making a whole pot. Perfect for people tired of giving their money to coffee shops like starbucks for a very costly cup of coffee. With Keurig coffee machines, you can make your coffee within minutes and the pods did not cost much. In the end, you are saving money and can justify the cost of the machine (and pods) vs purchasing a $5 cup of coffee at the coffee shop. This was GREAT!!! beyond great. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the Kold machine. The machine is very expensive, and you cannot justify purchasing it because the pods themselves are quite pricey. Not to mention, it takes a long time for the machine to prep. Keurig, you have lost your way with this. This is my review with this. Again, I have received this machine complimentary in exchange with my unbiased review. My review is definitely unbiased. Please Keurig, figure out how to make this a great purchase for us. Thank you.
Pros: No Flat Soda Ever
Cons: Bulky, Long Time To Prepare, Must Do The Sodas Right, Expensive Pods
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
