limited functions with windows 7

the only thing I have been able to make work with windows 7 is to tether my laptop to my phone. file stransfer does not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

that it doesn't work on a Mac.
For all others, this offers great potential, but can't vote or like something that is simply a cool blue LED light.
Pros: size and not bad looks neither.
Cons: poor driver support

Didn't realize Targus would build crap

I bought this a couple of months ago, but couldn't get it to work. Didn't try uninstalling and reinstalling as I was distracted by other priorities. Recently went back to it to get bluetooth on my Dell desktop under Windows 10. Never got it to work. I don't recommend.

Hello, we are sorry to her that you have been unable to get the Bluetooth USB to work for you. Although, with Windows 10 there should be no need to update or install any drivers there are times that it may be needed. This adapter doesn't work, don't buy it.

Utter crap. My windows 10 desktop recognizes the device, but I have 3 separate headphones that have no issues connecting to my laptop, my TV and my phone but won't connect with this device. Downloaded the driver from their site and it can't even find the device, remaining stuck on the first step.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Read the Reviews, Not the Product Instructions!

What should have taken 2 minutes to install took 2 days because the instructions in the product are WRONG! I'm hoping the adapter performs better than the installation, but you haven't left me with much confidence. If you purchase this adapter, please read these reviews. Information in the reviews got me what I needed to install the software correctly. Not impressed Targus!
