The best transfer I have had to a new machine

The PCMover program was very easy to use and made the transfer of data a reasonably quick and a very easy process. It also transferred the programs but about 30% of them still had to be reinstalled due to key problems mostly. It was sure nice not to have to reinstall the other 70%. I was able to set up and load the machine in one day and not 3 or 4 as has been necessary in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did not find this product useful for my situation. We only have a home office so a jump drive worked better. This is better used when a larger amount of data has to be transfered.

Did not live up to expectations

The the PC Mover did not perform as I had thought it would when I purchased the product. There was not sufficient information about what it would and would not do. After transfering data which included programs, I had to restore my computer back to its factory setting. (The HP service person was very helpful in helping me to restoring and also provided me with information about transfering data and programs from my old HP computer to my new HP computer).
I recommend that you do not offer this product in the future. It does not live up to expectations.

Oversold and underwhelmed

The software's hype leads you to believe it will transfer everything but in reality it won't. I had to reinstall Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat to my new computer. It also will not transfer antivirus software. It does transfer your data files and other programs.
My biggest problem was getting the software installed on both the old and new computers. I finally had to get a new software CD sent.
All in all, the software does transfer some things, but the cable provided makes the process very slow, so plan on leaving it overnight if you use this method. It did work to transfer most things, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hassle or not. If I hadn't had so many problems installing the software it may have saved me some time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was not ready to have to keep purchasing more and more fixes thought this product would do what you told me but it is terrorable.

Worthless. Loaded on both computers. Plugged in the cord. Started. Ran for about 5 minutes then "failed." Uninstalled, reloaded, plugged in cord. Started. Ran for about 5 minutes then "failed." Worthless.

Installation and user instructions are poor, CONFUSING and not intuitive at all.
Does not tell HOW to move specific files such as applications, address books, email folders.
I want my money back!!
