I am so glad I bought this TV. Has a great picture, so slim and has features beyond what I was looking for. I was not interested in the 3D, but saw my first movie on 3D and was amazed. Great for action pack movies. Watching sports is awesome!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

For me the best TV I've ever bought, easy to control, the color is very beautiful, very clear picture, nothing to complain until the moment. I am very satisfied.

Nice but the update killed my netflix and I'm waiting for the next update to fix it

nice picture, dissapointed i cant add sspeakers wireless. wanted to hide wires for a clean look. also remotes are not backlit, have to keep turning the light on to see what i am choosing.. the tv i just replaced woud show on the screen the comands when i am clicking on the remote. cant figure out if that is an comand option yet.?

Samsung 55" 3D TV

We've been using this TV for about a month now. We love the picture and the features of the TV. Still getting used to how certain programs look. Some broadcast shows almost have a 'fake' look to them, almost like they were created by a computer. This doesn't happen on every program, just certain ones for some reason. Still, it is a great TV for watching 3D media and normal DVD's and Blu-Rays. At times, we notice programs from Satellite provider will skip or pause during the program. Didn't notice this with older Samsung TV. Not sure if this is a characteristic of this TV, or more related to how shows are broadcast. Don't seem to notice this during playback from PS3 when watching movies or playing games. Overall, we are quite happy with the purchase.
Pros: Bright display, smart features, customizable settings

A bit pricey...Great picture

Everything is brighter and clearer on this tv over my old...46 inch 2011 model samsung that was 1300 at the time. Netflix on the tv isn't as clear as the netflix on my PS4...Im guessing the tv doesn't have a strong enough antenna...if it was wired in im sure it would be crisp....but for the money you think it would.... i thought about getting the new 8000 but paying for the curve...future ready blah...wasnt really worth it to me. All my blu rays are stunning.....Games too. Shouldve had a camera for the price. you can buy one for another 100. the base is weird looking but not hideous. Overall im satisfied and would definitely recommend this tv.

Cons: no camera, a bit pricey, 3d isn't mind blowing its ok....

I would have given this TV a higher score, but the web browser is extremely slow, and often freezes up. I'm using the WiFi connectivity and have Verizon HI Speed FIOS internet. I'm uncertain if it's the actual Web Browser, poor WiFi connectivity, lack of system RAM, or poor CPU performance. I plan on running a LAN cable to see if I get better Web Browser response. If it turns out to be wireless network connection issue, I think Samsung should add an external wireless antenna.
Speakers are not bad, but need external sound system to get real theater sound.
Had setup problems with the IR remote. The step asking you to select up and down channel during IR setup never responded. It would never identify my Verizon FIOS box. So, exited out of system setup, and the remote mysteriously works.
Just a side note: Some FOIS High Def Channels look bad.

Fast motion control and lack of full service manual

Auto motion plus does not correct the annoying constant pixel formation during fast action scenes.
The lack of a full use manual makes the picture adjustments a guessing game. I would not recommend this product.
