Excellent picture, smart features are good. Does not play well with other than Samsung

The picture is great, and I liked the idea that I would be able to stream video through the built in web browser (network TV websites), but have been disappointed at the browser performance.
When streaming, the picture is great, and the sound is great, but it consistently stalls or crashes after 5-10 minutes of viewing. Recovery sometimes requires turning the set off and back on. This means that to watch a 1/2 hour show can take more than an hour, with numerous interruptions. I have looked for other browser options with no success.
PIP seems to work only with HDMI. Does not work with other applications, such as the browser.
The remote battery indicator is already near dead, and I've hardly used the TV (3 weeks so far).
Whenever I select the GUIDE, the small picture goes away for 15-30 seconds while the guide updates (over the air, no cable or satellite), and then when I switch to the next page, it does this all over again, third page, and again... It would be nice if there was an option to load the guide details in the background.
iPhone, iPod, iPad app is still beta, and not very reliable.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: weak browser, guide update is slow, friendly only with samsung devices

Great features and awesome performance

I love everything about this tv, all the smart features are lightning fast. Picture quality is great best samsung tv I have ever owned.

Audio poor

There is no way that a company should even put a set like this on the market. The audio is like two tin cans and a string. I had to buy a sound bar immediately and still the sound is not close to being very good. In addition, the IR Blaster does not work. Thought Samsung would be a good choice.....I was wrong.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, very poor audio
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i HAVE THIS TV FOR 8 DAYS. IT WAS FAIRLY EASY TO SET UP. THE PICTURE IS GREAT. THE SOUND IS BAD, TINNY, RASPY AND ALL ADJUSTMENTS AVAILABLE FAIL.I HAVE NOT YET USED THE SMART APPLICATIONS OR THE BROUSER SO NO COMMENT AT THIS TIME. THE INSTRUCTIONS AREWRITTEN POORLY, INCOMPLETE AND INADEQUATE. I AM CONSIDERING RETURNING THIS TV TO THE STORE I BOUGHT IT FROM.

We are still learning all of the features of this set, but we absolutely love it! I need to read the manual further to take advantage of everything, but the basic setup, even the WIFI is very easy and works great.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy setup

Worth the wait

I first saw this TV on Black Friday 2013. I was blown away by the picture clarity and sharpness. To me, it looked better than real life. Now that I own one, I know I made the right choice. This TV is perfect for sports and movies. The only two things that could use improvement would be the web browser and the sound quality. It takes a lot of patience to navigate the web browser. I also can't use the equalizer on the sound settings menu. It says it's not available. I intend to purchase a Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer very soon. I have always been very happy with Samsung products and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Amazing TV!

I absolutely love this TV! It was my first widescreen tv purchase so I did a lot of research before buying. Samsung regularly topped the ratings charts in multiple reviews from consumer magazines to internet sites. The SmartTV features are a great addition for surfing websites, etc... The picture quality is flawless with full HD clarity. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a quality product with a great picture and an excellent suite of features.
