I recently upgraded from a 50" plasma tv to the 55" LED Samsung Smart tv. Money well spent. Beautiful to look at, best picture I have ever had. All the features anyone could ever need and very easy to operate. I use an antenna for pure high definition that is unbeatable.Wireless streaming is a breeze. Can operate with my Samsung smartphone. What a great tv and a great value. Thank you Samsung.
There are a lot of things to like about this television. I really like the picture and I think its the best styled tv in its class. However, there are some things about this tv that I really don't like. Some features seemed to have been arbitrarily blocked to differentiate this model from the 6400 series including the new Samsung Smart Control remote, and Sound Share for Bluetooth audio. This model has both bluetooth capability(you can use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard), but not sound. Also there is a motion sensing item in the system menu, but it's greyed out. It all seems a bit contrived, and it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super sharp picture. Crystal clear detail. Great tv design.
Limited blacks, and some motion blurr/digitization

I bought this TV because it was a Consumer Reports Best Buy. Overall, it is acceptable, but I am very concerned with the limited number of apps available, the digitization of the picture on occasion, the motion blur and the poorly designed button placement on the remote. The picture quality is good, but does not have the deep blacks that makes that extra difference.
Cons: poor remote design, motion blurr, digitized picture, limited apps, lack of black in the picture
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tv is the best tv. Starts up incredibly fast. Smart enough to switch to other devices when turned on (ie. Everytime I turn on my PS3. It automatically jumps to that source without me having to switch source inputs manually.) Overall very happy with tv.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, smart tv
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only had this TV about a week. Really impressed with the picture. I had to make some changes to my liking from the default: bright/contract/sharpness, etc. For the price point it was a good value, but could have included 3D. Having a built in Ethernet port is great to run my Netflix so I was basically able to remove my Blu-ray from the entertainment center. Speakers are OK, but what do you expect from a 2" deep TV? They are good for what I watch on the TV. TV setup was simple, plug in all hdmi cables, Ethernet and then power cord to wall. Turn TV and setup was easy as it walked you through it. Once plugged in, was watching TV in less than 5 minutes. I like auto-updates so I do not have to do anything. I recommend this TV. In fact, I bought it on a friends suggestion once he bought his online. On a side note, with a built in browser, a qwerty keyboard on remove would be nice.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, good picture, built in ethernet port
Cons: no qwerty on remote for web browser.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had this TV for over a month now and are very pleased with our purchase. Set-up tip: use a drill to screw base to TV, being careful not to over tighten. The screws are very hard to screw in with just a screwdriver.
TV setup was a cinch. The Smart Hub is very intuitive and it is great to be able to access favorites like Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, etc. without changing the source simply by pushing the smart hub button on the remote. The icons appear at the bottom of the screen and you can access the one you want by clicking on its icon. Internet is hard to navigate using the remote. We found a wireless keyboard that has eliminated this problem.
The picture is really exceptional. We did tweak the settings somewhat to get it to our liking. We would suggest using a sound bar, which is not unusual for HDTV's.
Overall, this is the best value in terms of picture, features and price! No buyer's remorse here.
