I love this tv it is my new baby. It looks amazing in my living room with its modern design, thin borders, and sexy stand. The picture is perfect no matter the amount of lights in your room. Playing xbox one with this tv is amazing. Samsung not only has the best picture but also the best apps and the only tv with hbo go!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, hbo go app!!!

The picture is great, the speakers are better than my previous Samsung TVs. However this is an issue with using the TV remote to simultaneously turn the TV and the cable box on and off. Using the Samsung TV remote I can turn on the TV and the cable box, but as soon as the TV boots up the cable box turns off. There is a similar issue when using the Comcast cable remote without the Samsung TV remote. The Samsung tech solution is to use the TV remote to turn on the TV and if the cable box does not turn on, to then use the cable box remote to power on the cable box.
This is an inappropriate solution for what seems to be a great TV otherwise.

Lastly I would have liked the TV to have an earphones jack.

The TV 's overall performance is wonderful. I like the Smart functions. This is my 2nd experience with Samsung, and Smart features, and I am still trying to get a feel for all they offer.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: the remote did not function properly out of box.

For the money, this is an excellent TV. The picture is incredible. The TV is lighter, uses less energy, and does not get near as hot compared to the old plasma it replaced. When we first watched a movie on it, we had to look to see if a setting was messed up because it looked almost 3D. We decided that we were just not used to a picture that clear and have since gotten used to the movement on the screen. Good stuff. If I had to complain about anything, it would be about the remote. I find it a bit cumbersome and not so easy to move around with just the thumb. But, that is not anything that would turn me off since I don't use it much anyway.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Backlight bleed

My set has pretty bad backlight bleed through the center of the screen. Very noticeable when something light colored is on screen. Considering returning it.
Pros: Lightweight
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 3rd Samsung and my first smart tv. The others still work, just updating to newer devices over time. The picture is AMAZING. And having the apps on hand, like hbogo and Amazon Prime, make viewing anything seamless and ridiculously easy.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to navigate apps, easy to control

Easy to setup.
Connecting to the wireless network was a breeze.
Apps are nice, it would be nice to be able to remove the apps that I don't want (social apps).
It would be nice to add a few more like MaxGo and Starz and Showtime.
The TV has an awesome picture, the resolution is so good you can really see the people sweat.
Movies look like they are broadcasted live.
Connecting to the wireless network was a breeze.
