Its more than I expected!

Greaaat picture and sound. Had a big screen rear projector for the last 10 years, thought I was seeing T.V. at its best. This Samsung has got everything you could want and more. I'm very satisfied and pleased with this purchase.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

The quad core processor makes the TV fast for awesome streaming. This TV out preforms a lot of my friends tvs.

New to HD and picture was not very good until I realized that I had both the HDMI and coax hooked up from my cable box. Once I disconnected the coax, the picture was great!
Haven't figured out how to get my sound to work through the stereo when I watch Netflix. I've no doubt this is just me!
Love the Smart TV and it has good sound.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

Black Crush

This Tv is geared for a person like myself. I do not need all the bells and whistles, curved, 3D etc. What I was looking for was a mid range TV that would provide a good picture. For the most part that is true and with minor tweaking on the settings I have been able to achieve what I feel is a very good picture for Sports, Movies and regular HD shows. The one problem I have with this TV and nothing seems to correct it is the Black Crush. The blacks are so dark that you cannot tell the depth or difference between items. It all just looks like one piece of dark black blah...To correct this I have to give up other aspects of the tv quality of the picture. Unfortunately this is just the way it is and going to be. Would it be something to keep me from buying it again....no. Would it be something that would make me tell a friend not to buy it...no. However I would make sure the understand and what to expect.

Cons: black crush

I didn't by it for it's sound system I already had my own. I just happen to think Samsung makes a good product. The viewing on this television is great as long as you're sitting directly in front. My old projection screen television was much worse.
