My 55' Samsung Smart TV

I was looking for a top quality smart tv that was very easy to use and this tv fits the bill completely. Excellent picture quality, easy to set up, very easy access to smart tv apps. love it!

This TV is a great buy! The picture is bright and beautiful. The SmartTV features are easy to use and are really a plus. We use Netflix a lot, and it works great. Works good together with our BluRay player and WOW the picture is so nice!! Very happy with this TV.

Worth the wait

I first saw this TV on Black Friday 2013. I was blown away by the picture clarity and sharpness. To me, it looked better than real life. Now that I own one, I know I made the right choice. This TV is perfect for sports and movies. The only two things that could use improvement would be the web browser and the sound quality. It takes a lot of patience to navigate the web browser. I also can't use the equalizer on the sound settings menu. It says it's not available. I intend to purchase a Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer very soon. I have always been very happy with Samsung products and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, picture quality
Cons: sound

Purchased this TV for my living room, outstanding picture & features. Kids love the built in Wi-Fi with Netflix. Had Sony 46" prior to this purchase hands down this TV is better in all categories. I would highly recommend anyone to take a look at this model first. I had all intentions of buying a LG but after doing the comparison Samsung came out on top. The only con is speakers seem a little weak. volume has to be set higher than normal.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speaker volume setting

Super Sharp HD!

This is a beautiful television!
Awesome definition in picture as long as your components/STB are HD ready. The picture is absolutely fascinating! I was quite hesitant at first because my Direct TV STB is not set for HD, so the picture was not the best of quality. Until I turned on the NEtfix and "Bam!" Beauty in disguise! The other thing is, besides the one component jack, there is no other way to connect an A/V accessory unless the component is HD ready. Not a problem for me because I'm ready for the next generation in gadgets! Also, for this being my first time owning a Smart TV, there was no descriptive manual included, explaining how to tune or adjust certain key features. Besides the little things that just take time to figure out. "Buy this TV!" The picture and sound is really amazing! Extremely please! Way to go Samsung! Yes!!!

Taking the next step up might have been worth it

There are a lot of things to like about this television. I really like the picture and I think its the best styled tv in its class. However, there are some things about this tv that I really don't like. Some features seemed to have been arbitrarily blocked to differentiate this model from the 6400 series including the new Samsung Smart Control remote, and Sound Share for Bluetooth audio. This model has both bluetooth capability(you can use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard), but not sound. Also there is a motion sensing item in the system menu, but it's greyed out. It all seems a bit contrived, and it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung just had better reviews than other TV's we were considering. Also have had good luck with past Samsung purchases.
