I bought this cookware set to replace a set of 50 year-old Farberware. I wanted some non-stick pots and pans. I researched Consumer Reports, which gave it a high rating. I've had it for a few weeks now and like it very much. It is heavier than I am used to, the handles on the glass covers can get warm, but I'm adjusting to using a hot pad when needed. Having to use a medium to low temperature, as recommended by the manufacturer, may take a bit longer to bring water to a boil; however, the quality of the cooking is great. Washing each pan and skillet separately, not in the dishwasher as recommended, will allow this cookware to last a long time.
