Great Unit!

We upgraded to this unit while building our new home - so glad we did. The gas stove and oven has worked like a champ. We've been using it for over three months now... no complaints.

Love, love, love this range!

Have now had this range over 3 months, and could not be happier with this purchase! This is a solidly built, smooth operating, easy to keep clean, and evenly heating range. We have a big family - 23 - and we gather frequently. Having 2 ovens has made preparing different dishes, and then keeping them warm, much easier. In between gatherings, I usually cook only for my husband and myself. Not having to heat a large oven each time I cook is saving energy. This is not an inexpensive appliance. But I did my research, am well pleased with this range and feel that my money was very well invested.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased a couple of months ago on-line because of lower price.
Range looks and works great. Grates are substantial, ovens' temps are spot on.
What I miss about my old range is that this one (also propane) does not work without electricity.

We replaced our 50 year old Tappan range with this GE Profile range and we are continually surprised in the higher quality of our cooking experience. The ability to choose the type of burner and the use of 2 ovens with the option of using 1 oven as a warming oven makes the cooking experience a joy.

Great Appliance, but not quite perfect

I have been using this oven for a couple of weeks and overall have been extremely happy.
Pros: Cooktop is the best I have seen. The burner configuration and grate are top notch and so easy to clean. The tri-burner and griddle burner (with the additional circular burner in the middle) are examples of forward-thinking technology. Couldn't be happier. The dual ovens have been fantastic, with even cooking and very accurate/quick temperature control. We have baked, roasted and warmed in both with very pleasing results.
Cons: the alert beeping system should be much louder. Although there are three volume levels the difference among them is not enough. Some of the push button schemas do not work well. For example, setting the clock is a pain in the ___ as having to push 2 buttons simultaneously does not always work. I would much prefer a dedicated button as opposed to this system.
For the cost of this range, which is considerable, I would expect top rate performance in all areas. If the alert system was louder and all buttons responsive it would easily be receiving a 5 start rating.

Works well Now!

We purchased this gas stove and oven right before Thanksgiving and the control panel went out within one week. After a technician came to assess the problem it took 10 days for the part to come and then additional time to schedule the install. We were without our brand new stove for 3 weeks, which was not so awesome during the holidays. Everything seems to be working now.

We bought this stove to replace the one that had come with the house. The stove has been fantastic. The burners have great control and being able to have such a range of temperatures has been a huge improvement. We love the dual ovens. We have only had it for a couple weeks but it has changed how we cook and how long it takes to cook completely.
I would recommend this to a friend!
