Dual oven is great as is the phenominal range top

We bought this as part of a group. Very pleased overall although the top oven unit takes an inappropriate amount of time to preheat.

Wouldn't shut off, had to unplug

We bought this in February and we already had the repairman here twice to fix it. First it got very hot and burnt the food and it wouldn't shut off and the temperature kept climbing, we had to unplug it to turn it off. The entire control panel had to be replaced. The second time it shorted itself out and burnt up an igniter wire, and blew the breaker. Both times it was out of service for two weeks. We are disappointed in the reliability of this product, and the potential it has to short out and cause a fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features, slow to ignite

I love my new gas range. Both oven are very spacious! The burners take a little longer to ignite. Key pad buttons are a little difficult to push, but easy to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems since purchase

I purchased the GE Profile PGB980 December 27,2017 and took delivery the following February. As we were building a new home the stove was not installed until May,2018. The timer has not worked since it was installed. The top oven will not maintain the temperature since installed and now the bottom oven will not heat (likely the igniter). I have used this stove less than a year and the double ovens have never worked properly. Since warranty is one year from purchase it appears I am stuck with faulty ovens and now have to pay someone to troubleshoot and fix it! I can say the stovetop has worked wonderfully though and I am very satisfied with that portion of the stove. Being an avid baker I am very disappointed in the ovens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor quality on Electronics.

Yesterday, Feb. 10, 2016 is the date that I first received and installed my GE Profile Gas Range and immediately encountered Electronic problem; Clock Set function does not work, Oven Light switch does not turn on the light so my wife is baking in the dark.

We are very exited with this new range the Chef Connect feature is excellent. Only one thing is that it doesn't have wifi connect and the seller advise like that
