No MAC support

It is 0% able to run on MAC OSx High Sierra. The embedded software version 1.1 is incompatible, you can start it but not write in the label field. The Label application 8.7 can install, but it does not find any printer. Dont touch this printer.
It is pitty. Under OSx 10.11 it was good, but useless since 10.12.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I apologize that you have experienced issues printing with your LabelManager PnP. Based on what you have described, you may need an alternate version of the Dymo Label Light software. Instead of attempting to use the software that starts up when the device is connected you install Dymo Label Light 2.1.1. Here is the link for that download: www.labelwriter.com/software/pnp/mac/DYMOLabelLight2.1.1.dmg. Fantastic Little Label Machine, but!

You have limited this product because it can't use 3/4" D1 (45803) or larger. Your competitor who makes the P-touch system can use 6mm to 36mm label tape on their label machine. Give it some though about redesigning it to hold 3/4" tape. Then I'll recommend it to all my friends.
Pros: Simple Controls, Quiet, Neat Settings, Works Quickly
Cons: Does Not Take D1 34~~~quot~~~

Simple and Portable

In my business, I use a lot of labeling for AV and IT cables. Five years ago, I built a small kit of Dymo label styles and sizes to take along. Connect it to my laptop and I'm in business. The software is simple and has adequate fonts and print options. I love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

when battery is dead, product unusable !!

you can't use the product without the battery..
if your battery is dead... the printer won't work at all...
need to buy battery pack (quite exensive)
better to get a model with standard batteries or external power

Please make sure the printer is connected directly to a powered USB port on the computer. We do not recommend using USB hubs, as most of them are not powered. Using docking stations is not recommended, even if they are powered. Please disconnect the USB cable, remove the battery and clean the silver connectors on the battery. You may power cycle the printer by pressing the On/Off button a few times and reinserting the battery. The printer light flashes 3 times, pauses and flashes 3 times again- this status means that the battery is being charged. Charge it for at least 3 hours and see if it’s possible to print.You may also double-check the status of the battery in the software. We would be very happy to assist you in resolving any issues with our products. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to give our technical support team a call at 877-724-8324 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST and we will be happy to assist you. Great little label maker

I have had this printer for over 5 years. I LOVE IT! Don't believe all the other reviews. The battery is replaceable, it's EASY to use, EASY to install. Prints great, durable labels.
