Incompatible with Mac El Capitan

The software stored in the LabelManager's firmware won't work with the Mac's most current operating system. Likewise, the downloaded software won't "see" the printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I apologize that you have experienced issues printing with your LabelManager PnP. This printer is compatible with Mac El Capitan you just need an alternate version of the Dymo Label Light software. Instead of attempting to use the software that starts up when the device is connected you need to install Dymo Label Light 2.1.1. Here is the link for that download: www.labelwriter.com/software/pnp/mac/DYMOLabelLight2.1.1.dmg. With this version of the software you can successfully print on Mac El Capitan. I love this label maker. Purchased for our office, and we use it all the time! Prints labels perfectly every time. We love it so much, we now want to purchase a second one for our sister office.

Can't make it work

As others have reported, I can't get it to work right out to the box. The software of the mac was super easy to use but it has a winding problem with the included tape and the letters are supersized and don't fit on the included tape

I apologize that you are experiencing problems printing with your LabelManager PnP. Based on what you are describing I would recommend that you be sure the correct label size is selected in the software. If you have selected a label size larger that what you have loaded in the printer it is likely that could be the cause of your print size being too large. Does not work well with Macs!

Item does not work well with Macs - downloaded all new software from DYMO website and still nothing. Software will not recognize printer and just queues print jobs. Read several other reviews online about a possible fix (unplug and let it sit for 5 mins, then try again) but it didn't work for me after several attempts. Apparently there is a design-flaw with the plugin and it is extremely finicky. I don't have time to deal with a device that is that troublesome. Returned this one and trying another handheld product that does not need a computer.

This does NOT work with all Macs :(

I purchased this printer as a replacement for another one that went bad after 3 years. This worked just fine with my Mac until I upgraded my OSX software and now it's basically useless. It is not compatible with Mac OS® X v10.8 "OR LATER" as stated on this site.
I don't understand why the info on this page hasn't been updated OR why hasn't DYMO updated the driver/software to make it compatible with ALL Macs. :(
Don't waste your money if you are a Mac user with an updated OSX system.

Sucks at supporting MacOS Sierra

I have tried all the available software versions but none could find my label manager PNP in MacOs Sierra. The Light version on the printer can, but I cannot enter enter any text more in the program. So I can only print empty labels! Expensive paper weight now....

'Configuration Manager Error 13"

I purchased in Dec 2016. All has been working well. I keep the label maker plugged in all the time. About a week ago, my computer would not turn on / boot up. Unplugged label maker, all was good with the computer. Just recently tried to print some labels and I get the following message - "Plug and Play application encountered an error and need to be closed. Error: 'Configuration Manager Error 13' Source: 'GrandParentFilter". Please advise what to do.
