We bought this to replace a similar LG gas stove so we could reduce CO2 emissions in the house. We did accomplish that goal. However, I am a bit disappointed with the overall stove top heating. While reviews I’d read prior to the purchase suggested very good heating times, we’ve not realized that. I even purchased new pots and pans for better contact with the surface. Simply cooking an egg in a small pan takes 5-10 minutes and boiling a pot of water takes a crazy amount of time. I’m not sure why the elements click on and off repeatedly even when turned up to high but you can see it negatively affecting the time it takes to, say, boil water. The oven is great…heats quickly and cooks well but we use it less frequently than the top.
