what to do?

I bought this 10 days ago and the knobs for the stove top turn on very easy. The kids have just bumped up against it at least 8 times turning on the burner. They have melted several things. I looked for safety covers and all are to small. If anyone has any ideas or know of replacement knobs please let me know.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
