Fire hazard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knobs on the front turn so easy, my daughter brushed up against one while walking by, didn't know it and my kitchen caught fire! This has happened more than once, I'm usually in the kitchen and can catch it when it happens... this night my husband was home and didn't see it till the smoke alarm went off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the look and functionality of it but the one feature I liked when I purchased it was the knobs out on the front end but after using it I have found It a little bit of a hazard And you can actually accidentally turn on the burner. OverAll I still love this unit.

A few design flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to love my new stove. Overall, I am very happy and would recommend it. There are a few design flaws. Except for the easy glide rack, the other racks are difficult to pull in and out. The knobs do bump to the on position fairly easy. The knobs don't come off, so they are hard to clean.There is no timer for cooking on the stove top, the timer only works for the oven. I called the customer service to ask if I was not understanding and she said I don't need a timer for rice or pasta, just keep checking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changing the temperature on the elements is way easier with the controls in the front. We don't have any children around that would try playing with them. The elements heat up quickly and for the little I've used the oven, seems to get to temperature quickly. Very happy so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so very pleased with this unit. It heated up in a flash and cooked our Easter dinner for 15 perfectly! I love to cook and bake and am pleased with the large size of both ovens. The blue interior is striking. The black stainless is a perfect match with my countertops. Looking forward to the very quick clean up with the self-clean features. The only concern so far, is that the racks do not slide smoothly in and out of the unit. I do like the extra feature that sounds when the door is open too long and the "music" when timers go off.

The black stainless has a serious issue in that the coating can be easily scratched and there seems to be no way to repair it. Will make appliances look awful in a short time.
