Easily Scratched, Too Fragile Stovetop

We are very happy with she stove's cooking and baking performance but very unhappy with its ceramic cooktop, which is ridiculously fragile. It claims to be a type of glass, but is too sensitive to for standard glass cleaners, e.g. Windex. So you are relegated to having to use special cream polish, which is mediocre in dealing with grease spatters. Further, you're out of luck if you want to use your beloved cast iron ware that has been in the family for generations. LG should engineer and make available a rugged cooktop as an option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Malfunctioned within the first year

When I first purchased this oven, I instantly loved it. Everything worked great until a few months later I noticed the left side burners began to malfunction. When the burner was turned on low the pot of water was boiling, when the burner was turned on high the pot of water barley came to a simmer. This is not the only issue I experienced, I started to have issues with uneven baking. Food came out burned not baked on one end, I noticed this after a couple of dishes I baked. And now my oven completely doesn't work. The touch buttons don't turn on and the burners don't heat up but the power button shows its on. For the money spent on this appliance and the brand, Id expect the unit to operate without malfunction for a soild few years.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

50/50 chance the oven will not turn on

After one year of owning this LDE4413ST Stove the oven quit working, you press the oven control panel upper / lower and neither one will turn on, half to disconnect power, power back on then it will work, I TRULY HATE THIS OVEN

Terrible stove! Please read if you actually cook!!

How in the world does this thing have so many positive reviews? They must be reviewing based on looks yes it looks nice but it sucks if you actually want to cook. I cook at least 2 meals a day and let me tell you I almost threw this thing away. It’s unsafe and way too sensitive. Many times while cooking or just waking by we accidentally brush the burners and he stove turns on. This is very dangerous as sometimes no one was cooking but the stove was on! Plus the back burners are too small Too small to be useful for anything but a small kettle. The ultra heat burner basically has two modes burn and not cook, front left. Front right is a good size but the way this stove heats is it the glass cook too gets hot and then it clicks off and it’s just a ratio of clicking and Turing off based on which level of heat you are using. This means that heat isn’t really regulated and on most settings your either going to burn your food or it’s not going to cook. I normally cook on low and then remove my pan so things can not burn, and cook all the way. For things like pancakes it’s almost impossible to get right with this heat irregularly. Plus the oven is the same way. My cakes are normally more cooked in the middle than the edges. I will say I like the convection one (bottom oven ) but because there’s two it’s shallow and some like a full size turkey would not fit. This is a terrible stove it’s very sensitive and heats irregularly and has hot spots in the oven. I love cooking and am not one to complain but I really wanted to warn others. If your going to get this do yourself a favor and get a chair for your smoke alarm and an instant pot to actually cook.

Bad control panel

I purchased this oven in hopes it would last but that is not the case. I was using the double ovens to bake and a F3 code pop up and now my control panel does not work. It seems to have got to hot and ruin the control panel. Also the glass top is not good quality as it crack when I have the stove top on high boil a pot of water. I would not recommend this product and have not been happy with the purchase.

Good Oven - Average Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this oven about 2 years ago and I love the double oven and the way it works (bottom oven cooks slightly hotter than normal but we've adapted cooking times) however, we've had to replace the knobs on the oven twice now as the numbers fade really quickly and peel off so it's hard to tell what temp we're cooking at.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance
