Knobs for the stovetop are dangerous.

Three times we have bumped up against them without realizing it and the burners were on and twice we didn't realize it until the grocery bags, placed on the stove after returning from the grocery store, were caught on fire and burning. The knobs should not
turn on the stove top burners that easily. Also worried about our small grandchildren turning them on since its so easy. I would have thought there would be a safety feature on the knobs.

I have found the stove top to be pretty easy to keep looking like new. I am still getting used to the convection function. I love having the two ovens though. The writing on the knobs did deteriorate prematurely but LG replaced them quickly. I am happy with the purchase.

The bottom section sits very low since there isn't a warmer/lid storage drawer. In order to use the lower area, you really have to squat to get at it. It is not very convenient. The oven works great and heats very quickly. They should have put the larger convection up top and the smaller (lesser used?) section at bottom. I do like the oven very much and I suppose there are tradeoffs that have to happen to pack that much awesomeness into a small space. Just wish I would have realized what we were getting into. With bad knees or a bad back, it would limit people a lot.

I accidentally dropped a glass bowl out of microwave and it completely shattered the top. The bowl not a chip on it. I understand it fell on cooktop but you would think the top would be stronger than a glass bowl. Come to find out it is not under the manufacture warranty.

I submitted a request to LG, and in less than 48 hours they had sent someone to fix the problem. I didn't have to spend any time on the phone, or do any back and forth with a service department. I wrote them to let them know how it was behaving, and they took care of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven and range are beautiful and I love the ability to cook in both ovens, but just shy of the 1 year warranty running out the ovens stopped working. LG was quick to get a repair ordered and after every part inside was replaced, it was back up and working... for a year. Glad I bought the extended 3 year warranty, looks like I'll need it. Repair man is scheduled to come out again.
