Start button issue

The start button was not working so I took the plastic faceplate off and the rubber under the button had disintegrated. Now I am having to keep the faceplate off and stick my finger in a hole to get the unit started

this dishwasher is garbage

owned this for over two over broke 3 times . If I did not had purchased insurance i would not have been able to afford the repairs

Where do we get parts for this dishwasher. It looks like the pump is gone. Water all over my floor bottom is full of water. Doesn't look like drain is plugged. Think I need a pump.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had a catastrophic failure of the our dishwasher. It caused a leak in the roof our basement and warped the hardwood in our kitchen. The primary motor seal failed. The dishwasher is only 3 years old.

3 yr old problems

Not happy that this dishwasher is 3 yrs old and we’ve had problems with drying dishes, sensor indicating it’s low after we just added the jet liquid, door hinge broke.

Difficult to use

I bought the he cafe series dishwasher to match my stove.....love my stove the way it looks and works, but the dishwasher is ticks out a bit more than I thought it would and it's difficult to start and use, but when it's done it did the job well. And I do not care for the very bottom the way it looks against the floor....odd design

Its's a lemon

I bought this dishwasher less than a year ago. We had a problem soon after purchasing it and have problems every since. This is a lemon and should be replaced with a new model. We purchased the entire GE Café line of appliances and are very disappointed with this dishwasher. These were expensive appliances and GE should stand behind their products when there is a lemon!

DON'T BUY!

I should have returned this dishwasher immediately. I constantly have to rewash the dishes, because they have a terrible odor at the end of the wash cycle. I always rinse the dishes clean before putting them in the dishwasher. I run the water from the faucet until it's hot, so the hot water is immediately available to the dishwasher when I start it. I use Cascade detergent. I wash the dishwasher itself be spraying the inside and wiping it clean. I've cleaned out the filter, even though there isn't anything in there since I rinse the dishes clean before putting them in there. I've tried washing the dishes on Normal, Deep Clean, Anti-Bacterial, and all cycles produce smelly dishes. I've tried running the Rinse & Hold cycle after the wash cycle to give them an extra rinse (which I should not have to do). Nothing works. This has been a problem since we purchased the machine. When I wash my dishes by hand they do not have an odor. This is an expensive dishwasher that I should be able to rely on to produce clean dishes with EVERY wash. I also purchased a GE Café refrigerator, stove, and a GE microwave, all of which I am very happy with, but I am extremely disappointed in this dishwasher, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It was a complete waste of money!
