My new GE dishwasher

GE Dishwasher - Profile Cafe - it's a cleaning machine - the racks are on rollers and the operation is almost silent. Extra Heat and Dries dishes too! You can only get that on American models it seems. I'm satisfied with the purchase for sure.

At first I wasn't really impressed but i am getting used to it. the one thing that i think is that the racks are black and if the lights aren't on in the kitchen it makes it harder to put things in. But i have put some rather large loads in that i thought i would end up rerunning and it has cleaned everything! so i guess i would say it is really good it just takes getting used to the how to load a new dishwasher. we are overall happy with it

It is not only handsome to look at, but is so quiet that I can't believe it is working. Large capacity holds even my largest platters and pans.

Too SLOW and not Clean Enough:(

The shortest cycle is 2.5 hours and sometimes the dishes are still not clean enough. Also, the way the racks are set up, I cannot fit as many dishes in the washer as my older model. The older model always got dishes clean in less than an hour. This LONG wait for clean dishes is a huge disappointment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the GE Cafe series dishwasher and LOVE it! The adjustable top rack and bottle sprayers are my favorite parts. The only thing I would change is to make the holes in the flatware separator a little larger because my forks won't fit in that part. Otherwise, its very well designed and efficient! It's also very quiet, which I appreciate very much! :)
