perfect for me

This Brothers printer is exceptional. It is very quiet even with quite mode off. The speed and quality of print is perfect for home or even a small business. After three HP printers that all failed before they should have I went with Brothers because of reputation and am very pleased.

Excellent purchase

This product fits my needs. I needed an all in one printer that could handle small business and family needs. It was an easy set up, However I had to do a lot of reading to understand how to use it. With all the different features I needed to understand and practice how to use them. Different paper sizes for different projects, NFC, etc.,

Robust machine build. Print quality is pretty good but not great. Ink cost is very good. Print on 11x17 a real plus. Only real negative is NO office supply store carries ink cartridges (including Staples and Office Depot). I buy Brother ink online but have to make sure I keep up with usage and maintain a backup set. Would have rated a 3.5 star if it was available because of the print quality.

Large glass for copies AND scans

Overall this printer has been great. Large glass for copies and prints, large paper size, good ink prices. Two not so good things - the print quality is OK unless you change it to best quality particularly with color and I still can't make it print on custom sized paper. Three rounds with email support but it just doesn't work. This one one of the feature I really wanted and so I'm disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty much same as MFC-6920DW I had before

I had the MFC-6920DW before this one. It was good. Then it wore out. I got this one, which is functionally exactly the same. The only difference is the kind of ink cartridges used. And the claim is that the ink usage is much less. We'll see.

Nice Machine

Purchased this large format printer for new place in Knoxville. Setup was straightforward and took only 15-20 minutes (I did not set up the fax feature). Looked at the HP 7612 but this was a much better option. Performance was very good right out of the box.
