Gets knives sharp quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sharpener in order to do a makeover on my long overdue dull kitchen knives. After reading the instructions I realized how easy it was to use and immediately got to work. After just a few passes with each of my knives they were like new again and will last for many more cuts.

Makes knives feel brand new!

I gave it to my mother in law for mother's day since she is an avid cook, and she has done nothing but sing praises about how this sharpener brought her favorite knives back to life. Knives she was sure were ready to be thrown out were restored in just a few minutes with this machine. In some instances, it even improved the precision of the cuts over the brand new version, due to tanking some of her 20⁰ knives and using this to make them 15⁰ knives. I took a few of our knives over to try it and I definitely see the drastic difference as well. Over all everyone is THRILLED with the quality, and swiftness with which this works. The base is also very heavy and slip resistant, which we love!

Great if you know how to use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The great thing about this sharpener is that once you learn how to operate it, it performs well. The issue is that the sharpener arrived without instructions or warranty details, so you’ll have to google your model to find a video on it. It took several passes before finally reaching a decent level of sharpness, but still had some slippage. Overall, a hand held sharpener would probably be easier, cheaper, and more functional for home chefs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener has certainly worked wonders for my kitchen knives. I was able to take old knives that I thought I would never really be able to use again because of how dull they had become and turn them into razor sharp like-new knives. This has been so amazing for me in the kitchen and I have gotten tons of use out of this. I never knew how much I really needed this product until I had it and saw how much life it can bring back to my kitchen knives. It is very well made and high quality, very durable and sturdy, and made to stand the test of time truly. This is certainly a product that I would highly recommend.

Sharp knives, scratched blades on pocket knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Chef'sChoice - Model 15xV PRO - Electric Sharpener produced very sharp knives for me across the board. I loved the results across the board from my kitchen knives that are large and small, the ability to sharpen my serrated knife (make sure to follow the instructions in the manual) and even my pocket knife. My pocket knife has a black stone finish and the sharpener was a bit aggressive in the blade and ate off a portion of the finish - more than I would anticipate. I do use this as a work knife, so I recommend starting with your less expensive ones first to understand what will happen. Overall, a sharp but sometimes aggressive experience.

This little wizard uses diamond abrasives to get the job done and works like a charm on both straight and serrated blades. The angle guides are a lifesaver, making sure every inch of the blade gets the love it needs. It even converts 20-degree edges to sharper 15-degree ones. And let's not forget the final polish – it leaves my knives looking like they just walked off a magazine cover. Plus, America's Test Kitchen dubbed it the best – can't argue with that! So, if you want to give your knives a glow-up, this sharpener is your guy. It's quick, easy and delivers pro-level results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great knife sharpener!! The directions are detailed yet easy to follow and are broken down into knife by country as well as smooth versus serrated. There are “feet” on the bottom of the device to help keep it from moving around. I strongly recommend this device be used away from the kitchen area since it produces tiny metal particles that you don’t want to accidentally ingest. I also recommend washing knives after sharpening because tiny metal particles can be found on the blades. I think I found this device most useful for smooth blades even though the serrated knives were also easily sharpened. It’s possible that my smooth knives were more dull than the serrated knives, though. Overall, I highly recommend this product for both novices in the kitchen as well as seasoned chefs. No pun intended. :)
