Does a great job heating my back office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our back bedroom as an office. The is room at the end of our HVAC system and we also keep the door closed since it isn't used everyday. This leads the room to be cooler than the rest of the apartment, especially in Chicago winters. The IR400 does a great job of quickly bringing this room up to the same temperature as the rest of the house. If my feet are cold when I'm working - something is wrong. My feet are not cold with this heater. It has three modes: low, high, and zone. I can't compare it to other heaters because this is my first, but I can say that even on high the heater is pretty quiet. Zone is great for just getting a pocket of air warm very quickly. This is what I prefer - I just put it right next to my desk where I'll be working. I highly recommend this heater and will be using it all winter.

One of the Best Heaters I have Ever Used!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the IR400 Infrared Heater in exchange for my honest review and I must say this heater is one of the best heaters on the market. I have personally tried a few other heaters in the past and this one surpasses everything. The looks of the IR400 Infrared Heater is sleek, stylish, boxy and small while the color is a modern white that blends in with any room design. This heater is portable and features a handle to carry it, which makes it easy to carry even while it is running. The IR400 Heater also features a digital screen, so you can adjust heat settings easier than most heaters. When I first received this heater, I was a little hesitant that it would heat a big room because the heater, itself, is not that large. This heater not only heats my whole living room, but it warms my room up almost instantly. One con, which I didn't personally mind, though is that this heater is a bit loud when running. (Although, it is no louder than a fan). This heater is perfect for the winter time and for just heating a room up to knock the chill out. The cord of this heater is fairly long, so it can reach a small distance. Overall, this heater is definitely one that I would recommend.

Not for "scent"-sitive people unfortunately

I bought this @ Bed Bath & Beyond(Studio City, CA) back in early spring 2017. It worked great for my 144 sf bedroom, BUT it stinked like a toxic factory. Vornado offered a replacement. The replacement I got this November was also good, but I could still smell a continuous mildly noxious vapor coming out of the vent. If you are sensitive to aromas, you will be annoyed by this model. I have purchased 2 @ the same store for my place of employment & never detected this aroma. My boss' moomsie got one & loved it, but her daughter disliked the smell as well. I will try the non-infrared model & see how this works. My co-workers bought 2 basic cheap vornadoes @ Bed Bath & Beyond 2 wks ago, and I could smell a tiny amount of noxious aromas as well.
Pros: Good Power Output, Stable Base
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Efficient "little cube"; not very silent...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the "cube", it is somewhat stylish and blends well in the room. It does the job as it claims: heats the whole room, or just the space around it. I would not use this in the bedroom as it is a bit noisy, other products by Vornado are much quieter like the one we use in the toddler's bedroom, (my wife insists that the tiddler's room should be warmer than the rest of the house...). This is a great product for that thermostat zone that you keep at a lower temperature but you are using one of the rooms in that zone and needs the temperature to raise quickly.
