[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second 6,000 BTU Frigidaire window A/C I have bought this year along with a 8,000 BTU. I LOVE them all. They are great to cool and great on the utilities. The workmanship is excellent which I expected from Frigidaire. I would recommend this A/C to anyone and have.

Fan On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit about 6 months ago and we were surprised that the fan never shuts off. Other window air conditioners we have owned shut off when the desired temperature is reached. While the cooling does shut off, the fan continues to run.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great A/C unit for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought and installed about a month ago for my shop. Unit is working great.
The only problem I have had with the unit is the way it was received. The front grill was smashed and broken and the foam fan housing was shoved into the evaporator coils. After spending several hours straightening the fins on the evaporator, straightening the bent in corners on the cabinet and repairing the plastic grill and air deflectors and gluing the styrofoam fan housing back together, I installed it in my shop. It has been working fine since I don't really mind it looking a little worse for wear.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought two of these 6,000 BTU units to replace two 23 year old units. We have been very pleased with the output and distribution of the cold air. This was the hottest summer on record where we live and these units got us through with little impact on our electric bill. These units are very efficient, not as loud as most and are not so heavy that a couple of old folks can't do the install on their own. Thanks for a great product.
