look nice easy to use simple

replaced an old one that we had for 8 years that worked good. that's why we replace it with the same one again.once the room cools down the newer one kicks on and off more than old one did im assuming that it's more energy efficient that's why it doesn't

Cool but noisy

I purchased a 6000 BTU window unit for our bedroom because it was advertised as quiet. It is anything but quiet. It sounds like a train coming through the room. Also it has a thermostat so it goes on and off, each time it goes on because it is so noise it wakes you up. Also I have to put my TV in the bedroom up to practically full volume to hear over it. It does cool the room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner cools not only the room in which it is placed, but, with the help of a well placed fan, my whole house. I have not noticed a big increase in my power bill either.

Perfect Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This window unit actually outperformed my expectations. I had purchased it during the hottest weather of the summer after our main A/C Heat pump fan gave out. We ran the unit 5 days while waiting for the replacement motor and our house was kept comfortable in the mean time. This window unit is an excellent choice for a backup air conditioner! Very pleased.
